Last week in my exciting life. lol!

Today is Friday! Doesn't mean much to me except tomorrow the animals go to the groomers.  And then we are suppose to go to Maddie and Karla 's birthday party IF it doesn't rain.  And then church on Sunday.

Here is a picture of papa talking with the neighbor guy. Really a nice guy too.

This has been a pretty good week so far.  It was a quiet birthday for papa. Just the way he said he likes it.  Lots of phone calls and facebook greetings. I read them all to him. And had him answering the phone all day. Tuesday was payday.  Madi came over to spend the night.

Papa went and got a pizza. It was good stuff. Her and I watched Tangled again.  We love that movie. Papa decided to try sleeping in his chair all night because his brother-in-law does. Maybe he would sleep better and not feel as sore. In bed his shoulders and back gets sore. So Madi slept with me. Didn't go so great because Scruffy was all over the place on the bed and it was hot and muggy. We woke up tired.
But we went and picked up Lauren and took her with us to the movies. they have dollar movies in the morning during the summer.  Unfortunately we went to the store first to get candy and a drink. $20 later and then the admission was $3 and the popcorn was $8!!!! So it cost $30 bucks for the dollar movie. We won't go that often I bet.  There are not that many good movies playing. We watched Hotel Transylvania, which I had never seen.  It was pretty good. The girls feel they are getting too old for some of these movies. After all, they are 11.

I heard something very disturbing on the news today.  Most child abductions are girls ages 10-14 taken from 2 pm to 7 pm. This is when parents give more freedom to their. And the same old tricks are used... lost puppy and candy. Keep your kids safe...and grandkids.

Anyway.... we went to Walmart and I did a little shopping.  I got really sick while in there.

We went and got some chicken and I took Madi home...ran in really sick into Karla's.  Yuk.  Came home with Lauren and rested.   Lauren spent the night because she wanted to watch Big Brother with me. Plus papa made her bbq baby back ribs and garlic and butter pasta.  She sure loved it!!!!  She doesn't eat as much as she used to. So she had some for the next day. She didn't eat much the whole time she was there. But she does love popcorn! lol!

Thursday we laid around and did  nothing. Played some speed outside and let the cat wander a bit. As long as Lauren can catch him he can go out.  But I notice papa has a easier time catching him. He runs from Lauren.  The cat loved his time out there. We watched Big Brother Thursday night too.  It could be a good season. Have my favorite and not so favorite players already.  The power was out at Karla's so they didn't get to see it last night.  Madi was not a happy camper.

Papa made us a nice breakfast this morning.  He is such a good guy. He's already walked the dog and is relaxing.  All of the sudden it is getting really ready and sunny. It was just sprinkling. Weird.

I hope you all have a good day!
