Our dog Tobias

Well... it is 1:45 a.m. Haven't slept yet tonight. My stomach hurts from coughing. I'm not that bad during the day but at night when I lay my head on that pillow it starts! Papa is sleeping so good tonight I don't want to keep him awake. I avoided taking Nyquil again because I didn't want to be groggy.... finally gave in 20 minutes ago.... so if this starts to not make sense... you either won't notice or it is the medicine. lol At least my tree is pretty at night!
I don't have lots to say. Not much going on.... cleaned in my room and stuff today. I can talk about my baby boy! Toby cracks me up. He is the best company during the day. Here is a picture of him looking out the window for papa. Notice he is stepping on the clock/radio. Papa had to fix the time. haha!
I think this cold weather is getting to him. When he goes out he has figured out a quick way in... get my attention! So he will lay at the door so his toe nails hit the metal of the doorway and I hear it. He is pretty smart! But I think he is bored lately. Here he is tearing up his Santa (again). Papa keeps sewing it but it is almost beyond hope.
Now he's taken up watching the news! Not sure why.... I think he would prefer a cooking show or the Dog Whisperer.... but nope!

Today Jordan plays her instrument in the mall.... Christmas songs! I need to sleep to be ready to go! It should be good. It was last year. We actually have a pretty restful weekend coming up. I am looking forward to it!

Our church was on the news yesterday! You can see the inside and outside of our church and our friends Pastor Paul, Kristina and Bri talk to the reporter!
Our friend, Cindy Lou in Georgia just got word her son may be on his way to Afghanistan. Please keep him i your prayers.... but I think mama is going to need it the most.

Well.... starting to type with my eyes closed. So, I best go!

I did want to share this song with you... our kids sang it at church and did an amazing job!
It only takes a spark to get a fire going.
And soon all those around can warm up in its glowing.
That's how it is with God's love,
Once you've experienced it,
You spread His love to everyone;
You want to pass it on.

What a wondrous time is spring, when all the trees are budding;
The birds begin to sing, the flowers start their blooming.
That's how it is with God's love;
Once you've experienced it,
You want to sing, "It's fresh like spring",
You want to pass it on.

I wish for you my friend, this happiness that I've found.
You can depend on Him, it matters not where you're bound.
I'll shout it from the mountain top,
I want the world to know;
The Lord of love has come to me,
I want to pass it on.

I hope you enjoy your weekend.... here is my memory picture of me and oldest brother Rick when I was 2. He didn't want to give me too much room, did he. lol!
What's Next:
The big weather story for the next few days will be the cold temperatures across western Washington. Overnight lows will drop into the 20s over most of the area Friday night.
The weekend starts on a dry note Saturday under partly cloudy skies. Afternoon highs will be in the middle to upper 30s.
There is a chance we'll see snow flurries developing through Sunday morning. We are not expecting any accumulation of snow over Puget Sound.Monday and Tuesday will be sunny but very chilly. Colder than normal temperatures stay in the forecast through the middle of next week.

Happy Birthday Rachel!!!!

My memory picture was taken 4 years ago today of Joel and the kids getting their Christmas tree! I love how they do that! Great picture!

I have 12 minutes to post. Heather is all over me today! lol! Yesterday was such an awesome day!!!! I picked up mom and took her to the podiatrist. Then we went to BK for a Sausage, Egg & Cheese CROISSAN'WICH! (yes... I am still watching my diet ... so I didn't have any hash browns and drank water! lol) Ask mom how she says "croissan'wich". She is so Norwegian! Anyway, then we ran to WalMart and got a few things for Mary which we took to her next. Mom visited and I walked up to mail her and Mary's mail.... then got Mary's mail and paid her rent. Mom got to visit with Mary while I was gone. Then I took mama home. Her cat is so funny... laying by the fireplace the whole time we were gone! Mom bought him a catnip toy. He got down and looked at it and then curled back up in the chair. lol! Came home and cleaned my bathroom and rearranged a bit. Bedroom is today!!! On my way home from mom's I stopped at Albertsons to drop off a check and bought the bell ringer a big hot chocolate!
The bellringer is cousin Grant!!!! Here is his picture on the cover of the local newspaper! He's such a nice guy! He deserved a Hot Chocolate... he's been doing this for years when he's not wrestling!

Well.... it has been almost an hour. I'm blogging late because I slept in late and then made the mistake of getting on Facebook and then finding a fun site to do these things:
This one I made for Rachel's birthday!!! Happy birthday to an extra daughter... Rachel! x0x0! Then I thought this would be funny for Dylan....
Made some others too... it was so fun!

Well.... it is Friday and I am so happy! I also want to say Happy birthday today to Cyndi Gilman, Dena Heenen and Muriel!!!! xoxo

Have a great day and walk with Him!

Does anybody read the weather thing I post every day? Does anyone care? lol

Weather To Expect:
A little moisture is creeping in bringing the chance of a few snow showers over the Cascades with the slight chance of a flurry along the foothills. Best chance will be later this morning into the early afternoon. Otherwise, a mostly sunny day with highs running around the 40 degree mark.
Into the weekend, even colder air is working into Western Washington. We'll see some weekend sunshine, but it will not be warming us up much. High temperatures drop into the 30s Saturday and Sunday with overnight lows in the teens and 20s.
The coldest blast of air will be coming in early Sunday morning. As the arctic front passes through early Sunday we could see an isolated snow flurry.

Happy birthday to the "great one"

Today my great-nephew, Ryan, is 23! Wow. Blew mom away too... he is the oldest of all the "great ones" as dad called them. Here he is as a baby... and him now!
Same face though! Have a wonderful day Ryan!!!!
Grandpa and the great one.Just to show you a relationship... this is Ryan's dad.... Ricky. And Ricky's dad... Rick (Ryan's grandpa/my bro).

Today will be busy... that's a big for sure! I will be picking my mom up, taking her to her appt, going to breakfast, going to walmart to pick up a few things for Mary and taking them to her, paying Mary's rent for her and getting her mail. She isn't doing well with the shingles. The pain med's aren't working. Please stop and say a prayer for her. She is 89 years old and I see this pain sucking the strength from her! It will be nice to spend the day with my mom.

Please be praying for Becky (niece in Oklahoma). She is having surgery today! Also for bff Sharon.... her twin had surgery for cancer yesterday and is doing good... but she found out her dad who has cancer had a stroke on Monday. Thankfully he was in the hospital at the time so there was no lasting damage. My girl is going through alot at this time and needs prayer... along with her family! And Pastor Jake's mama went to be with the Lord yesterday. Keep the Jacob family in your prayers also please.

Yesterday I got all our laundry caught up and the house cleaner. Very proud of myself. I gotta leave in an hour so I best run for now!

I want to leave you with my memory pictures from this date .....12-3-88 The kids and Brad made Christmas cookies and showing off their best!Jordan as Rudolf December 3, 2003
Lauren and I doing Christmas cards 12-03-04Slumber party of 2005.... Andrew reading to the girls.

Then the girls trying to figure out these green frosted cupcakes.... you can tell youngest to oldest and who really has it figured out! lol!My mom as we decorated her house in 2006!

Hope you have laughter and lots of smiles and blessings today! xoxo

Weather To Expect:
Another frigid morning across Western Washington with temperatures at or below freezing. The sun will still be with us along with dry weather. High temperatures this afternoon will be running in the mid 40s.
We'll see more clouds and a few mountain showers Friday evening. Temperatures will stay on the cold side. There is the slight chance of some of that moisture coming off the Cascades providing snow flurries over the foothills and areas around the south sound. If any snow does make it to the lowlands, it does not look to provide any significant accumulation.
Plan on even colder weather for the upcoming weekend. We'll see some sunshine with high temperatures around 40 degrees with overnight lows dropping into the 20s and teens.
