Did you know I love Lucy?

I just want to sing "Happy little working song"!  I am happy to go back to work today!!! I was so bored yesterday!  This past week I have watched all my TV shows recorded on my DVR...it is down to 30% and that is the gk's shows mostly and some I Love Lucy for Lauren and I to watch. She loves that show.  They had a marathon last week in honor of her 100th birthday.  I love Lucy!!

An all time classic. I love this one!!!

I recorded this one....not sure if she will be impressed.

I recorded this one for her to...she will love it. I read that it ended up the other woman didn't speak English and thought the fight was real. lol!

This one is Lauren's favorite so far! She laughs so hard!
She was the best!!!! The only one I can think of that comes close to Lucy would be Carol Burnett. Those two can make me laugh so hard!  Good, clean laughter! Laughter you can share with your little grand daughter! Hard to find now days.

Mom went to the wound clinic yesterday for her leg. Remember when she fell in church months ago? She has seen 3 doctors for it....now she is finally going to the wound clinic.  It is healing very slow.  But it is healing.  She seemed in a real good mood after she got home...so I was happy to hear that! Lois is good medicine for mama.

Had a lot of prayers going out yesterday.... I am not at liberty to talk about but I did send some private messages out there asking for prayer.  I appreciate all the prayers....God is so good. I cried and prayed and cried and prayed.  Everything that seemed like a coincidence in this episode....I know God made happen to keep this person alive.  Thank you God for showing Your grace and glory again!!!!

I don't think Punkin is coming back. It has been two weeks.  During those two weeks I have thought of all the scenario's.... where she is, where she could be, what could have happened.  I just need to let it go.  She was so loved and is so missed. Now, papa needs to accept it and quit waiting on the front porch for her to come home. He did box up her food and got rid of the litter box she never hardly used.  I've thought about how a family deals with a child that is missing. With all the worrying and waiting and watching and wondering.....I would go insane if it were a child.

Well.... I am going into work early.  Not this early, but I have nothing else to write about. lol! I hope you all are blessed today in a mighty way!!!! Love to all!

HAPPY 7th BIRTHDAY JOSHUA!!!!

Today our Joshua turns 7 years old!!! He is not that far behind the girls!  So hard to believe!  He is a smart little guy with a smile that lights up the room!  I love that boy!  He goes from Rodeo boy to motocross boy!  Here are some of my favorites....it is hard to keep the number down but I will try.
Look at that look he is giving.... he will get his way in life for sure.

...and eat what he wants....

I love this picture!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JOSHUA!!!!!!
I missed work yesterday.  I need to go today. Yesterday I slept a good part of the day. I am still fuzzy headed (how I get when I am sick) but I will be ok.  I think my allergies brought on a summer cold. That's the diagnosis from Dr. Mam anyway. lol!

I don't have a lot to write about. The digital picture frame we gave mom a long time ago...she gave it back. She never watches. it.  I have to figure it out now. Hmmmmm. I cannot remember how to turn it on and off.  Maybe I just need my head to clear....it cannot be that difficult.

It is amazing how often we hear Punkin and run to the door.  Papa and I both do it. I miss her sleeping on me, rubbing on my legs, running in the bathroom ahead of me, all the things that would annoy me. I miss her so much I cannot even explain.  I think a coyote chased her off. I think she is out in the woods somewhere and will find her way home one day. I believe it.  My dad used to say "That's the way I see it....so that's the way it is."  I miss him too....big time.

Well....mom goes to the doctor today. I wish I could go so I could find out what is going on! Driving me crazy!  I don't get this new doctor.  Haven't met him but thinking they are dropping the ball a bit on my mom!

That's all I got.  Hope you all have a great day today!

Sunday...sad day....not a very fun day.

The past 24 hours have not been so great.  In fact my heart is so heavy.

Let me start from the beginning... yesterday started out great!  Dylan, Maddie, Lauren and I went up to the campground where Karla and Joel and some of the softball team went.... Falls View.  We took our air mattress to them and stopped to get some ice and candy for them!  It was a beautiful day out and such a pretty campground.  The view of the waterfalls are pretty.... and I got some good pictures!
Maddie...the waterfalls are far away, bigger than they look, and WAY down!

Dylan McStud (lol)

Lauren...Auntie Tara had to get her to laugh to get a good smile!
Even Lily posed!

Auntie Tara, Auntie Karla, Lauren, and Maddie!
The waterfall zoomed in!

The river zoomed in...
A large nest....possibly an Eagles nest?
After we left there we went to Walmart and then to my mom's to visit for a bit. She enjoyed the kids very much! She loves to see her great-grandbabies. She loves visitors!

Then we get to the bridge and this is where we landed....on the bridge while a couple Navy boats went through. The kids took some good pictures!

Lauren took the pictures so she wasn't in them. :(  We got home and the kids searched the neighborhood again. The girls went in the pool....then took a shower.

Papa went to get Andrew.... Dylan wondered why Toby kept looking in the next lot.  So he put Toby on the leash and walked over there and called me.  There was a cat's head.  Shook me to the core.... I kid you not.  It was gross and disgusting.  I came in the house crying....then the girls noticed and I told them we may have found Punkin. The lost it and started crying hard.  Lauren was yelling "Why did this have to happen???" Maddie was hyperventilating. Papa and Andrew came and Papa looked at the skull and put it in a bag.  The weird thing is.... we haven't noticed it before and it was sitting about 7 feet from the road.  Without getting too detailed and gross...it looks like it had been dead longer than 3 days.... and Dylan saw a little fur...but it was black fur under the right eye.  She doesn't. Papa thinks the head was too small....I think the teeth were too big. I don't know if it is wishful thinking...but we are still praying it wasn't her. But out of respect... Papa buried it and made a cross a said a prayer.

To say it was a rough night is an understatement. Unless you're an animal lover....you may not understand.  And the grandkids love our animals.  Dylan had to go to his grandpa's. I sat with him rubbing his back while he cried...but was trying not to.  He said "Punkin' was my cat. I loved her." It broke my heart and still makes me cry. I wish he wasn't the one who found it. He was shaking. I am glad his grandpa picked him up. The girls took a long time to calm down. They were afraid. Afraid to sleep in the trailer. Afraid to go to bed. Afraid of everything. They made a bed on the floor to sleep together. All night long they took turns waking up and coming into my room and sleeping with me. Lauren had the hardest time....when she gets like this it turns into missing mom, wanting to go home, scared someone is going to come in and get them....long, long night. For papa too. They would come in the bed and he would go to his recliner. Maddie and I slept in until 8:00. Then Karla came shortly after that and picked up Maddie.  Maddie was ready to be with her mom. I ran Andrew to Kevon's again to take care of their dog.  Lauren woke up around 10.  Papa made us breakfast and we lazed around until Ryan and Amanda got home....then we took Lauren, Mac and Sandy home. Now we are just chilling. Waiting for bed.  And still praying.
Enjoy your week and thanks for your prayers and support! Love you all!
