Many blessings!

TODAY:

Well, it is May 4th. lol!

I always liked this saying.  Another beautiful day in paradise!!!!  We live in Paradise Bay so that is why I say it.  Today we have a quiet day. Jordy has a game in Kingston tonight.  We'll be going to it.

Our schedule this week is:
Monday:  Jordy game @ Kingston 4:15
Tuesday:  off
Wednesday:  Lauren game @ PMS 8 pm
Thursday:   Alyssa game @ Kingston 4:15 with Senior Recognition after game.
Friday:     off
Saturday:  Jessica @ NKHS 2:00 and 5:00

The games are taking their toll on me with the sun!  I am loving it but got my first sunburn at Riley's game a week ago and it is continueing.  I got the right side of my face and chest area yesterday.  But even when the sun is out it isn't terribly hot and there is always a nice breeze so I don't really notice I am getting burnt.

YESTERDAY:
We went to Jessica's game...like I said with the sunburn and all.  We pull up to the curb and set our chairs out on the sidewalk and watch the game from the hill with all the others.  Now, Jessie's games are different.  She plays on a baseball team.  An all boys baseball team.  lol!  She decided to join late and she wasn't thrilled with the girls softball teams and the boys needed another player. I am so proud of her for not being intimidated  by this team.  And she likes it!  She played 2nd and right field.  Up to bat she got hit twice!  The second time her dad (David) was mad.  The guy down the hill says "Well, that is one way to get her number!"  The guys on the other team were really checking her out. Well, she is beautiful and made the uniform look great. lol!  We had such a great time visiting with Alyssa and David and Annette. Here are some pics:

Alyssa watching sisters game

Her dad (my bro) David at the game

Aly and her dad
We were also watching a nest across the field.  I don't think it was an Eagle...maybe Osprey (Seahawk) nest.  It was pretty cool.

Catching the sun and the game!

My pretty little niece Alyssa is a Senior this year....graduates next month and then is going off to WSU (Washington State University) across the state.  She has grown up so fast.
LAST WEEK:

Last Wednesday we went to Alyssa's game (she stole home, slid and was safe!)  and then to Lauren's basketball game.  It was my nephew's birthday (my oldest nephew...Ricky turned 49!) Made this for him:

Last Friday Aly had another game in Kingston.  We've been sitting behind outfield all by ourselves and loving it. Papa made popcorn. It was great. Pictures from this game...her dad was there too.

The funniest is this video of Alyssa.  She has the Langager temper.  2 on base, batter up, Aly on deck. 2 outs and last at bat...we're behind 3 points.  The girl goes out, Aly mad.

Last Saturday:
My great niece Taylor Ann's birthday! There are some beautiful eyes in our family!!!!

THIS WEEK:
I already mentioned the games.  I am also having a phone consultation with my doctor.  I am still suffering from the dizzy spells, a bit of depression etc.... so we're going to talk on Tuesday.  Grandson Patrick has an appointment with an ENT on Wednesday.  And Don and Lois are coming over and spending the night Thursday!!!!  So excited to see them.  Going to get the trailer set up for them.   That about covers the week!

Papa is heading out the door for a walk.  Then he is mowing.  I have some cleaning to do before my sis comes over! I hope you all have a wonderful week!!!!
