Smiley Saturday!

I love smiling photos!!! They make me smile.

Our grandbabies...

My kids smiling faces make me smile!!!!

It certainly doesn't seem like Saturday to us. Like they say, every day is Saturday.  It has been freezing out every morning!  So cold.  Cold to us is under 40.  The skies have been a beautiful blue. When you look outside it is deceiving.  It looks like it might be warm.  This morning Papa is sitting with his cat (the cat NEVER sits on my lap...he is Papa's cat for sure) and I have Scruffy on mine.
And we're watching Chopped.  We like this show, Cutthroat Kitchen, Hell's Kitchen, Beat Bobby Flay, and Master Chef.  Those are the ones we watch together. I like Top Chef too.

We've been tossing around what to do for Thanksgiving.  We only have Kevon coming over. Everyone else is busy this year. So we tossed around maybe going to the casino and having a nice Thanksgiving and Seafood feast.  But then I love the smell of pumpkin pie and turkey cooking.  And football is on. Seahawks don't play until 5:00.  We always eat early...around 1 or 2.  Then later we munch and have dessert.  Kevon has some friends house to go to for the Seahawk game later anyway.  So we'll eat at home.  I have great plans and flavor ideas for Thanksgiving. Been reading and watching tv a lot. But Papa won't let me experiment too much. Lol!  Just a touch of flavor to the turkey, potatoes and gravy.   I am getting excited! I would love for Alyssa and Jessica to come but we will wait and see on that.  I miss those girls!

Also planning to pick up the Ornament / Cookie exchange!  We did it for years (the girls in our family) and last year was the first year no one really wanted to do it at their house.  But I missed it so much.  So I want to do it. My sister, Libby, was excited too!  Here some of our past times! So fun!

It's hard without mom.  But it is time for new times.  The old were great but new memories are always good too.

Well, I need to go ride my bike so take care and stay warm!!!! xxooxoxo
