Love our Hawks, our Pacific Northwest and Scruffy!

Just got done watching our Seattle Seahawks lose.  Made me sad.  I don't know what is happening. Wilson is such an amazing QB it is hard to see how inaccurate he is throwing most of his passes. Our center just came back off an injury and they hauled him out today.  Marshawn Lynch is barely playing with a messed up knee and back. I think we have 5 or 6 starters out today.  And our family picks who we think are going to win and lose every week.  We all did pretty bad. smh (shake my head).  What can ya do? Believe!  I will always believe in our team!!!! Love our Hawks!

On this Sunday I am thinking about all my blessings. Sure, I get sad and I miss my family a lot. But there are always blessings to see!  Today I was going through pictures because I like my screensaver to be beautiful scenery.  And I separate them into seasons and holidays. I know, I am a freak. What can I say?  But my point is...while I am doing this I am realizing how blessed I am living in the Pacific Northwest.  There is a song I am going to post from a tv show "Here Come the Brides". It describes this area still today.

This video is mostly pictures of downtown Seattle with the space needle, the tallest black building in Seattle is where Karla used to work, you can see the ferries we ride to get to Seattle, and Mount Rainier in the background of some of the pictures. But the song I love. Perry Como sings it.  I am adding a few more pictures of the beauty around here for my Georgia friends!

Well, some people are getting excited about our Girls Christmas Ornament/Cookie exchange on the 13th.  I am jazzed.  I invited the 3 youngest girls; Madi, Lauren and Riley. It's their first year this year and they are so excited.  And Heather is picking up my sister (Lois) and her daughter (Denise) on her way! And my other sister Libby is coming!   It will be fun!

It was a year ago today we got Scruffy!  Hard to believe! He has changed so much and gotten a lot more secure and happy!  And where he was nervous of Papa...now he adores him. Walking buddies!

Papa trying to watch seahawks. Scruffy wanting to go for a walk

Scruffy won!

These two are buds

Night we brought him home he was hungry!

And took over the couch from that night on.

What a great first year!!!!
Well, best go. Have a good week!
