Saturday Morning!

Saturday morning and it started out so beautiful with a gorgeous sunrise. But now it is cloudy.  Papa is out walking the dog but we have to come up with a new collar because even with his leash looped around he is still pulling and dragging papa. Not good for either of them.  They are getting to be such buddies. It is taking time for Scruffy to totally trust papa but it is working with time and love. He will leave me in the bed in the morning and get up with papa and sit with him. It is sweet.

It's been a pretty good week.  Yesterday was valentine's day and it was a little disappointing.  I am so blessed by my family and how healthy and happy they are. I just miss them alot. They have their lives and families and now I know how my mom felt when I was raising my kids. Left out. I did wake up to a Happy Valentines greeting to on my facebook from Maddie!  That was wonderful!  The highlight of my day and the only greeting I got except from Papa. He drew me a little card and made steak for dinner. He truly loves me!!!!! He is the best papa ever!!!

Lauren jammed her finger this week at basketball practice so she was out of the game today.  We didn't go but she did. Haven't heard how the team did. It was a tough loss last week.

Trying to get healthy.  It is so weird because I am not really sick but haven't been feeling well either. My sinus's have been really bothering me bad. Haven't been sick for so long!!!!! But this annoying thing is causing me headaches, plugged head, runny nose, etc...  Sometimes I wonder if I have pet allergies, but I never had them before.

Did our taxes the other day. I hate doing taxes but I sure hate paying someone else to do the more. We don't have to pay this year. Papa is having taxes taken out of his Social Security check now and with me not working we aren't making too much.  Nice to get something back even if it isn't tons.

Feeling kind of sad with all the people dying...Pa Walton and Shirley Temple just this week. It just makes me older. Plus it saddens me that some of my childhood is gone. I never could get my kids or grandkids really into Shirley Temple movies so I feel like it is gone.

Oh, Heather, your dad just sneezed and I thought of you. So annoying. There is something else so annoying to you that Andrew agrees with. That is something you'll have to talk to him about. lol! If you check out Heather's blog you'll see she accidently got a new kitchen!!!

The cat cannot go outside to catch a mouse so he chases mine on my computer. It is soooo annoying because he will get on the keyboard and take me somewhere else or shut down my computer. Cat is being watched by Scruffy and if I get too mad Scruffy will handle that cat. lol!

Well, it is now raining and so I am going to go clean up my bedroom corner.  I have a corner that is a bit embarrassing. Have a great day and weekend and will try to write again soon!
