The month of November!!!!

wOw!!!!  Am I one of those bloggers that just ride off into the sunset??? Am I not catching the formidable years of my grandchildren growing up?  What is wrong with me???

Well.... i am blogging today sisters!!!!! I don't know how to go back several weeks so I won't.

Missed posting about my Riley girls birthday on the 18th of Novemeber! She turned 10 years old! Forever more in double digets!  I love my Riley. She is crazy funny with a huge heart!!!! Here is the blog from last year with more pics....http://mamssite.blogspot.com/2011/11/happy-birthday-riley-girl.html
Feel bad I wasn't blogging.  But I called her and she knows I love her.  I did miss her party.  Health issues.

I was going to not mention but since this is like a diary too....I better post.  I have had some problems.  Gaining weight being among them. I cannot really say I'm back on track....because I think my "track" was being lazy, not exercising, eating, and no self control.  Having a husband who likes to show his love by feeding is also bad.  He does most of the cooking.  But ..... now I am dishing up less and giving Toby what I don't eat.  That makes him happy.  I have made a menu of what we are eating breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Exercising every day. And putting it in my head that I can do all things through Christ.....because He gives me strength! I will never give up!  This week I have lost 3 pounds.  I am so inspired by my son and daughter!!!!  Heather has lost over 20 pounds and looks great! Ryan has lost almost 50 pounds!  I am so proud of them. Now it is our turn!  Health wise my blood pressure is up, my blood sugar is up, and my weight.   Time to bring it all down.... I need to get off my meds.  Without my job we make it but don't have a lot of wiggle room.  If we can get off some of our medication it will save us money. All got to do our part!

Almost done putting up Christmas decorations!  I tried putting up a tree and this is what I got!!!
Peek a boo

Tired from all his trouble.

Likes the exercise bike!

Carrying his mouse around!

On top of the door. Really?

We thought we would put up an old fake tree to see what he would do.  Well, he must have heard us talking about a cat tree and figured this was it. Wrong! I was so depressed when I realized I could not have a tree. That has never happened to me before...I have always had a tree.  Through every broke Christmas I have had, through every cat I had, through every toddler and child.  I have met my match with Kitkat.  He is a monster!  He really is. He is a hard one to train. He is so stubborn. We use the water bottle because he is not a fan of water.  I have trained him to stay off the TV tray. But we are still working on the dining room table. He is still scratching the chair. He is still chasing the dog. Pretty much doing whatever he wants to do.  What was I thinking?

Let's see.... what is going on with my family.  Joel got his deer this year! That is always exciting!  Maddie got glasses!  She got them yesterday and looks so cute! She can see now!  Karla's family took a mini vacation to the ocean. I love this picture of Dylan. They flew kites.

And Dylan got his drivers permit.  That family is busy.

Andrew is "dating" or "going steady" as we said in the old days.  Her name is Jael Johnson and she is a pretty and nice girl.

Their friend, Hannah took these pictures! She is really good!
Lauren is learning how to play the guitar. She is doing so well too!!!! I am proud of her!  Uncle Kevon is teaching her!  She is starting Basketball now and we will have a new sport to watch.

Lauren has been busy....here she is at her school....we went to see them sing for Veteran's Day.

We also went to Maddie's school and saw her sing!  Of course we had to look around the big red bow from the girl in front of her!!!! lol

Jordy and her boyfriend, Melvin. I don't know him very well because I don't see them much. He seems really sweet.

Tara's family has been busy with birthdays and sports!  Riley just finished soccer and her next sport will be baseball.

I made a new friend....her name is Nell. She is Jael's mom and we tried to go out for a couple days a week to have coffee at Cuppa Bella in Kingston. It was nice. She is a good person and a good friend already! But... she moved back to Montana which makes me sad.  Only for a while. Jael is staying here with friends.

Thanksgiving was fun! We went to my sister's home.  There were 11 of us and the food was so good...Lois is a good cook.  Brought some games and played Lauren, Andrew, with my brother, David, and his girls Jessica and Alyssa!  Spoons was really fun!  And we played Sorry. David actually won!  Good thing....he is such a poor loser! Redemption from when Karla and Kevon beat him Thanksgiving in 1987 or so.....

Heather got pictures taken.... I love this one of them laughing!  I miss my girl.
This is a copy of my..... me watching The Office.  I never saw it before.  Until this month.  I watch it on my computer on Netflix.  I am on Season 6 already. I love this show. There are some questionable things but it is mostly just funny!!!!

Well....this is all I have time for.... I promised Lauren I would take her McDonalds to her at school. She doesn't like the beef teriyaki they are serving today.  Hope you have a great day.  xoxo
