Happy birthday Ryan!

Happy birthday to our son Ryan!!!! I hope he has a wonderful  day!  We love him so much!

It has been a week since I have written. Not too much has changed. Things are going good.
The cat is getting older and bigger.....not that you can tell much. He is so tiny. But he is getting more rowdy and crazy! Maybe he is just getting more comfortable. I am trying to figure out how to train a cat. We play with him alot....we hang up toys off the chair for him to play with....we just need to find a cat tree.

 I really want him to climb something other than curtains, furniture and us!  Good thing he is so cute. Look at him sleeping!!!!

Papa finished his puzzle! He said he is going to miss it. He is starting a new one with Jesus.  Looks super hard. He says he now feels retired. haha!

Well....I am going to lose weight this time.  I really have to.  I know I've said it before a million times....so this will be one million and one.  I cannot give up on myself. Not ever. Two people have offered to send me to Weight Watchers.  I don't want them to spend their money on me.  I have to show them I can do this. I know they love and care for me....I need to love and care for myself enough not to be a burden to others.  I am going to try starting another "support group". One time we did one that really worked well for quite a while.... the 100 day program.  There were 8 of us. Long term I don't know how it worked.  But it was fun for the support. It was called "Healthier Me".  Think maybe that is what it will be called. It isn't necessarily about losing weight.... more like eating healthier and exercising. I hope you'll join!  I will post the link as soon as I get it ready.

My grandson, Patrick, had a football game and he ended up with a concussion.  He is ok now...but scared the craziness out of me!

Dylan spent the night on Saturday! That was so awesome!!!! We had shrimp for thinner and watched The Avengers.  We hadn't seem it before so Dylan brought it over.  He got to spend some time with the kitty.  No one will ever replace Punkin' to Dylan.... it was his baby and he loved her!

Had dinner at Amanda's the other night. Num. Chicken Adobo. She is a very good cook. It is nice to be invited over.

We just had a wonderful stew dinner and are watching the presidential debate. This will be a pretty interesting hour.

Wasn't feeling very well today.  We ran to Goodwill store in Silverdale. I had to run to the bathroom. Thought I was going to throw up and got light headed and sweaty. The bathroom is REALLY FAR in Goodwill, too. I found 4 Christian Romance novels... which I love! I don't like ready soft porn romance books. It's nice to keep it clean.  Could not find a cat tree or cat carrier.  Did get to see my friend Marcey!!!!  She suggested we go to the Bremerton Goodwill. So we went to Petco and Goodwill. Lanny found a pet carrier for $7!!!  No cat tree.  Still searching. Did find a few cute Halloween and Thanksgiving decorations!!!  We also stopped at two places in Poulsbo....nothing.

Kit Kat.  That is his name.  We had tons of ideas and suggestions....my first thought (which I still love) was Sherbet   But then names started pouring in: Tigger, Spaz, Mr. Nesbitt, Booger, Cheddar, Halloween, PIB, Cheeto, Frisky, Gaston, Kit Kat, Peanut, Rowdy, and more..... but one day Papa just said "It is Kit Kat."  That was the final answer. I guess he got tired of us all talking about it. lol!  Some people are still calling him what they want anyway. Doesn't matter.....most cats come by Kitty, Kitty anyway. I sure love this kitty. He is sweet, cuddly, kind, crazy, funny and the best!  He is soooo small. Way too young to have been taken from mama. He is a cling-on.  Every place I go he goes.  He loves people!

Kit Kat, Sherbert, Tigger, whatever-his-name....

This post is about the new member of our family.  He is cute, funny, obnoxious, energetic, nosy, cuddly, and a brat.  He is a kitten!!!!
Now, what were we thinking getting a kitten?  Never wanted a kitten. I wanted a cat....sort of. I missed Punkin' every day. Toby doesn't like cats so much. But it is like I never quit looking. For Punkin' and then for another cat.  Cat's totally add something to your life. Companionship (when they want), affection (when they want), and tons of laughter.  But a kitten is not trained! Luckily this is litter box trained and hasn't had any slip ups any where else. Good boy.

Now, had I seen him outside a grocery store with a little kid I would have taken him in a heartbeat.  I saw him on Craigslist.  Emailed the owners who said he was not fixed or had shots. So I passed. Then she contacted me again a week later (Thursday) and said she had to "get rid" of him by this weekend. So....showed papa his picture....

Cute or what?  Who could resist?  And papa's favorite kitty's are orange. The next morning we met the owner and brought him home!

Toby and him are doing ok so far. He isn't a fan of Toby. But toby doesn't seem to mind him. They keep a respectful distance so far.

 Lauren and Maddie spent the night and of course fell in love with him!

He doesn't have the best manners yet so he freaked them out a little at first. But they sure fell in love, too.
