Justin Webb Simmons...this ones for you!

Our class has adopted a Marine.  His name is Justin Webb Simmons!  He is my friend in Georgia, Cindy's son.  He just went to Afghanistan for the second time...he is on the front line.  He needs our prayers...as does his family.  Our class drew him pictures I hope cheer him up. They asked a lot of questions. I am taking pictures in to hang up...so he becomes real to the kids. Here are some pictures of our class drawing his pictures...

Love those kids!!!!  I had my evaluation at work yesterday! It went really good. I was so nervous! I got 4 +.... which is superior! I got 3 check marks which is meets standards. 0 absences, 0 tardies!  I rocked it and am so happy. They don't usually give plus's because they say there is no room for improvement... but I scored those on Dependability (Joyce works to do what is important for families and makes adjustments immediately when asked.),  Compassion (comment: talks from a loving heart and acts the same), Loyalty (comment: I have experienced Joyce to be respectful, honest & have a great attitude 90% of the time), and Willingness (Joyce volunteers time and will take a project home.)! I sound like a Girl Scout! lol!  The checks were on Attitude (comment: Joyce has shown that she can make changes willingly, even tho it affects her bottom line. She is a positive influence.), Initiative (there was no comment), Efficiency (Joyce can be slow when dealing with office tasks. Systems are new to her.)  There you have it.  Marcey would like me to think a little more out of the box. That is tough for me! lol!  Plus I need to delegate more.

I am so far behind on my posts I don't know how to catch up!!!! I also found out the world didn't stop turning because I missed a few days.  Incredible. 
I have been busy and time is moving really fast the past few days!  Even at work I have had no time for breaks or lunches!!! Busy, busy!  I need to fix it.  I can't slow down the clock..but I am sure there is something I can do about this.

Since I last posted I touched an alligator, lost weight, got our propane fireplace going again, saw an old friend, mom's surgery is scheduled for Monday, and time ticked by.

Today is my 3 month evaluation! I hope all goes well. I dreamt the other night I was fired! (How come when you say that word it sounds ok....but not when you write it?

Andrew went to school with me the other day.  The kids LOVED him!  He walked over to see the Reptile man with us on a field trip. I still can't believe I went to where snakes were...but I didn't have a choice... and I used the kids as a buffer between me and the snakes. lol!

After work that day I was so exhausted...but still met with Tina (Ernestine Kain's daughter I haven't seen in about 8 years! Here she is with a friend at Azteca's. Nummy food and lots of laughs.

Short on time this morning. I work at 9:00 and I was going to go have my blood drawn and didn't remember until after I drank some coffee. Whoops. I will have to plan it another day. I also have two sleeping kids here.  Maddie spent the night again!  (I just got a call from a telemarketer and it is 6:55! I see Maddie stirring....I hope she falls back to sleep!)  And Andrew spent the night!!! I am excited! He may spend a couple nights! I missed him! Last night he was telling papa and I about Mexico....what he liked, what bugged him, how awesome it felt to serve God and the church down there, new friends he made, he told us about the beautiful beaches of Mazatlan, etc... I cannot wait to see all the pictures! I did get to see pictures of the Owl City concert he went to when returning home Friday night!  His absolute favorite in the world.  He had a blast!  Tonight he is going to the Softball game with me! I wonder if Veronica will go again?  Hope the weather cooperates!

Fog around Western Washington this morning will burn off shortly after sunrise. Our skies will brighten and more sunshine is expected. Highs will be in the mid 70s. More clouds are expected by Tuesday afternoon with another storm system moving our way by Wednesday and Thursday with cooler temperatures and another chance of showers and mountain storms.
