Joy... cleaning bathrooms

If you don't believe He is watching you.... read this verse again. Just like a parent watches his children.... so does our Father. We tend to forget it.

Yesterday was another quiet day in Paradise. I did laundry, dusted, cleaned house, cleaned poo off my flipflop, cleaned the front deck and cleaned both bathrooms. That was fun. My mom came over for a little bit. We looked at pictures on my computer and stuff. I invited her to lunch and to play games.... but she said she had to get home and get things done. I was sad when she left. Alone again, naturally. (Any one remember that song?)

Watched Big Brother. I am so mad at Jeff. What an idiot. I was mad at him for snapping at Jordan for not doing anything. Did he forget she was HoH and Veto winner the week before?? Then I am hoping he is not stupid enough to keep Nataly in the game. That is my TV rant for the day.

Today little cousin Emma is having a birthday! Happy birthday Emma!!!! I am sure she will have a wonderful day.... knowing her family!

I hope you all have a nice day full of good surprises and some laughs thrown in! God bless!

Weather To Expect:
Some clouds and patchy fog as you get out the door this morning. Sunny this afternoon with high temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s around the sound.
Temperatures climb into the mid to upper 80s tomorrow.
On Friday, we'll bring the temperatures back down and see some showers move across Western Washington.
Drier weather is on the way for the upcoming weekend.... temperatures to warm back up into the upper 70s with areas of morning clouds and afternoon sun.

Birds and camp....

My daughter, Karla, hates birds. Truly hates birds. As does the lady in "That's Church" site to the right. It has nothing to do with church. She is a writer for a Pennsylvania Magazine that would write anonymously... until she thought someone would "out"her .... so she "outed" herself. She is pretty funny. She has been writing about how bird lovers are all over her case about her feelings towards pigeons. Too funny. Take a peak at it when you get a chance!

Well.... I get the farmer's almanac in my email and I love it! Here is a link to help you figure out the weather forecast:

This is my history picture taken 3 years ago of Andrew 8-25-06 ..... it was after soccer practice. He was tired and hot! He really hasn't changed too much. Today he leaves for church camp! I am sooooo excited for him! Ryan, Kevon and Heather used to go with the same church years ago! They had so much fun.... some of their best memories as a teen! Kevon was excited for Andrew. And Ryan and Amanda are super excited. He knows alot of kids that are going from his days at Royal Rangers and CKA. I am sure he is nervous so please pray for him.... and pray God touches him in amazing ways!!!! Here is a picture when the kids went.....Heather is standing on top of the log in the middle with dark shirt, Kev is in the front and Ryan is next to him doing the peace sign....
Below is some guy, Heather, Christy and Ryan!
Well.... I had absolutely no life yesterday. Just sat here. Did nothing. It was boring, sad, pathetic, unproductive and every other word you can imagine. But today is a new day. It will be what I make it.... right? Right. And I have to make it productive if nothing else. Make each day count! Hope you make today count! And have fun doing it! God bless!

Weather To Expect:
This morning - some light showers and breezy conditions. This afternoon the showers taper off and some sun breaks out. High temperatures will be running in the upper 60s and low 70s.
Expect mostly sunny skies with temperatures around 80 degrees on Wednesday.
Thursday brings us more sun with highs in the mid 80s. That will be the warmest day this week. Friday bringing some showers back for the end of your work week. Temperatures will fall back down into the mid 70s.
The weekend looks dry with morning clouds and afternoon sunshine.
Temperatures will be holding in the mid to upper 70s both Saturday and Sunday.

Into links today!

This is a good verse. If you decide you don't want to believe in your Creator... this tells you He has shown you of His existence. You have no excuse for your disbelief come judgment day!

Lauren and I are really into the Sound of Music right now. Lauren has memorized almost every song already. The video I posted I got from friend Cyndi Gilman! I love it and would have loved to have been there. Check it out!

The Kitsap County Fair http://www.kitsapgov.com/parks/fair_stampede.htm is coming up .... and as usual, we can't afford to go. :( Kind of used to it now. I have been living the Iowa State Fair with a blogger friend, Dena. Now THAT is a fair!!!! Amazing. Here is her link in case you want to check it out. It is really good and she has a great sense of humor. http://greenacres4me.blogspot.com/ They are pig farmers and enter pigs in the fair each year. There is also a band on her site that is amazing... instruments are garbage cans, lids, etc... Fun stuff!

Yesterday was fun.... Papa and Lauren picked some blackberries for her mom. And Andrew did his car wash. Ryan had his baseball game and they won!!! The team is awesome and Ryan is such a great coach! He would like to play too... but he is out for the play offs with his hurt leg. Here is the link to check them out.... http://kitsapblacksox.com/ great pictures and information. Play off games this Sunday. They have the most wins... but you know how baseball playoffs go. Wish Ry were playing in them. :(

Checking out the news this morning... it seems like every morning they are reporting a home burned down somewhere in the western Washington! Crazy! Another person was hit by a train in Edmonds.... how does that happen??? Don't people see and hear a train coming??? And the little 11 year old, Lindsey Baum, down in McCleary is still missing so I was so glad to read this: The KlaasKIDS Foundation and the Laura Recovery Center plan to hold a community meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at the McCleary Community Center. The weekend search will begin 9 a.m. Friday. Wish I could be down there helping somehow. When kids are missing it rips my heart out.

I could use your prayers.... I am struggling with not getting hard hearted towards people and situations. I care deeply about things. I am sensitive. I get hurt easily. I've been told more times than I can count to "let it go" to "not let it bother you" to "don't worry about it". I've worked hard all my life removing walls and letting people in my heart. Now I find myself building them again. Where I loved... I am now getting the feelings of indifference. I don't think it is good. I don't think it is unforgiveness as much as just not wanting to care anymore.... not wanting to spend my energy on certain people. I know some people live their life like that... I've seen what it does to them .... I think it makes you a cold, bitter and eventually lonely person. I don't want to be that person. I know there is a handful of people that will pray for me when I ask. I am asking. Please pray for me ... because after being hurt repeatedly by the same people.... I don't think I can do this on my own.

Don't have much more to say then this. Watched Big Brother last night. This is such a good season. It is so nice to see Jeff and Jordan in control of the house. I was so disappointed to see that Jeff is a smoker. Did you notice Jordan push him away after he won HoH? I don't know if she likes him as much as everyone makes it seem. I like her. She's a good girl with a good head on her shoulders.... not as dumb as it seemed at the beginning. But .... them trusting Nataly? I am not too sure about that.

With the foggy morning and it being apple season ... I really liked this background. Wish it said "Mam" instead of "Grandma" but I am so proud to be a grandma it is ok. And I couldn't find one with a blackberry pie. You better hope I don't figure out how to make these myself or all your faces will be splattered on backgrounds! wha...hahaha!

Hope you all have a great week.... hope it goes fast for you and Papa!!!! God bless! xoxo

Weather To Expect:
We'll see the sun break out for everybody by the late morning with mostly sunny skies lasting throughout the day. High temperatures will be in the 70s.

A weak cold front sweeps through Western Washington on Tuesday. This will bring in more clouds, cooler air, and a few showers. Look for high temperatures in the upper 60s on Tuesday.

The front moves out quickly, allowing the sun and warmer weather to return for the middle part of the week. Mostly sunny Wednesday and Thursday with high temperatures in the upper 70s.

Another front arrives Friday morning, bringing some more showers into the area for the end of your work week.

Right now the weekend looks sunny with high temperatures holding in the 70s.
