I love this video. These guys crack me up. It kind of backfired on them. lol! Enjoy it! I had the wedding dancers up earlier but everyone has seen that one. This one I haven't seen before so thought I would share it.

Yesterday wasn't really a good day. Wasn't a terrible day .... but not so good either. I really don't like Aunt Flo.... you know the one that shows up unannounced and hangs around for days making a nuisance of herself! She came yesterday and I can hardly tolerate her! She gives me such a headache! We had plans to go to Ryan's game and our potluck at Melody's with BB Study group.... didn't make either. Papa and I were both really depressed yesterday. That doesn't happen often. Usually if I am down he makes me laugh. Not so much yesterday. Doesn't really look like today is going to improve much. I have some housework to do today.... and other than that just sitting around taking it easy with Aunt Flo. The older I get the worse the visits. Used to not bother me.... I can't wait until she stops coming over and bugging me!

I just saw Arnold's Home Furnishings in Bremerton is on fire.... 5 alarm. Not good. Started at 2 am! They closed Kitsap Way.... one of the main roads to the shipyard. That will be a mess for some.

Some from the south or even Yakima may laugh at this.. but this is hot for us and something you rarely see in this area:

Weather To Expect:A heat wave is gripping Western Washington this week. Sunny skies with temperatures in the mid to low 90s around the central and south sound. An Excessive Heat Warning is in effect through 6 pm Thursday for the very hot and at times humid weather on the way. We typically see 90s a few times a summer, but to see a stretch of 90s for this long is very unusual.
Temperatures will keep on climbing over the next couple days..... 95 degrees the high on Tuesday, with 98 degrees on Wednesday. Wednesday will be the hottest day with triple digit temperatures possible for some inland spots. We'll keep it in the 90s on Thursday before some cooler air starts coming back in on Friday. It will not be a major cool down, but temperatures look to drop back down into the 80s.

Hope your day is a good one. Try to stay cool this week! Won't be easy... but I WON'T complain about the heat. My mom has air conditioning so I know she is ok. The rest of us will survive. God bless!!!!

eggs, sand castles, and chees burgers.....

Today is Sunday morning and it is alot quieter than yesterday morning!!! Yesterday I had three beautiful girls in my kitchen cooking scrambled eggs! They were good eggs! And they had a lot of fun. You can't see him.... but their papa is hovering close by.

Here is Jordy making armpit noise.... how can you wake up with that much energy?

After breakfast Jake and Patty came over and we visited for a while... the girls patiently waiting to go to the beach. sort of. After our company left we all went to the beach. Papa had so much to do but he came with us. Toby was super happy he came. It was fun.



They built sand castles..... Jo put the most work in hers. The others just built sand hills and quit.

Getting ready to leave.... papa gave them all a ride in the truck. They loved it.They played in the pool and then took another shower. I made lunch and the we played farkel teams. Jo and I beat Lauren & Riley. It was close. Then they played some games and the parents came and took them away. The rest of the afternoon was mellow. Papa and I just hung out. We had some thunderstorms last night. It rained pretty good! Papa made some nummy cheeseburgers for dinner! It was a good night. Missed the girls... it was quiet. Cleaner with just girls, I did notice. Missed our messy Maddie though. Wasn't complete without ALL the girls.

Papa found the slicker brush this morning and is brushing Toby. He looks so happy! The other brush broke over a week ago and he was a mess.

When we got there we found this! Somebody went to a lot of work building this sand castle... using crab legs and pincher's and sticks and shells and weeds and water.... really cool.



This is what Toby thought of it.

I'm not sure why.... but there are tons and tons of jelly fish on the beach. Not sure why they are all dying. An elderly man asked me why.... I guess I'll have to look it up. I've never seen such a thing on these beaches.

After the beach we came home and the girls played in the pool.

Lauren thought it was sooo funny.
After they played they took a group shower. They had lots of fun. We had "potluck" for dinner.... my kids know what THAT means! And we played Apples to Apples Junior.... Riley won! Then we played Farkle... and Jordy won! We watched the Sound of Music and sang every song right along with the movie!!!! Lauren's favorite is "Do-Re-Mi"..... Jordy's is "The Lonely Goatherd"..... and Riley like "So long, Farewell." Now that those songs are stuck in your head.... we are signing off and going back to the beach.
