Decorations, Scruffy, and Seahawks! brrrrrr

I can't believe it is Wednesday. This week is going fast! I've been busy putting up Christmas Decorations and the Tree. Only took two days this year! Probably because I only put up half of what I normally would. Here is a peaky into my house...
Our mostly red and white Christmas Tree! We have stockings for everyone in our family!

Waiting for Papa and Lauren

By my chair!

I love my snowmen!

I had to put any stuffed ones above the dog level. He could get at the 3rd level but I watch him.

My blue corner above my desk.

Our 5 kids stockings they made when little with the 10 grand kids! And our musical clock that goes off with a Christmas song every hour. We've had it for years and got each of our kids one!

Lauren set up this little corner of the world for papa in the den.

Hermie, Santa, Rudolph, the Abominable Snowman, and Yukon! They all make noises or sing and they were Maddie's favorite toys to play with at Christmas time! Except the monster scared her for a year or two and then she was ok as she got older. We have to keep them up because of Scruffy!

Where papa sits in the den have the snowman his mama gave us. It is the same one his brother, Michael, loved! Also I have pics of the parents.

Looking into the den.

Another time of patiently waiting.

Lauren on the computer

Cuddling with me. He looks up once in awhile to see if I am there.

Peek a boo! He loves Lauren and cuddling in her blanket and pillow!

Then there is the cat. His spot. Had to be careful of what I put up there and if he did knock something over would it break? He has been good so far.

He just wants a warm place to sleep.

This dog is so attached to me! When I go to bed I have to hurry and jump under the blankets because he will get under them and roll around and bury himself under them. It is actually really funny.  When I get into my chair he jumps in my lap before I even sit down!  I am falling in love.

It is nice to have my decorating and shopping done. I have a few more gifts to wrap today and then I will put them under the tree. There are no peekers around here so we're safe. Washing sheets and need to clean the toy room or my bedroom. The weather is cold!!! Made hot turkey soup last night and it was good. May not seem cold to some of you but it is for around here.

Cannot go without mentioning the best football team in the nation. Seattle Seahawks won again last Monday night beating the Saints!

It really is an exciting year for fans...me included! I've been a huge fan since the 70's! We've been to the Super Bowl once and lost to Pittsburgh. Hopefully we can win it this year. Love my Hawks! And we took the World's Record back for noise because the Northwest has a bunch of big mouths! We made it on the earthquake rector scale.

Lastly, I want to post this picture of our 5 oldest grandchildren before and after! May of 2002 and then November 2013! Love it!

Thanksgiving

Somehow my pictures got backwards so here are Fridays first.  They turned out really great. Heather went around and took them, that is why everyone is smiling and she is in most of them. haha! I just love her. They spent the night and it was fun.

Jordy and her boyfriend

Karla's husband, Joel was hunting. But had to quit early because Kevon had an emergency flood at work.  Kevon made it here to eat so that was nice.

Such a busy time of the year.  I will continue to be thankful but I am done posting every day.  This is the first year I actually finished for the month. Now I am switching everything over for Christmas.

So much has happened this past week!  We went to Riley's birthday party last Sunday! It was fun. Maddie went with us because Karla did a 5k run in Seattle. I was sooo proud of her!

Tuesday morning Heather and the family stopped by on their way up to Forks. This dog loved Parker!!!!  He wasn't a fan of Don, though. It was great to see them all! It was Don's birthday too!!!! So we got to wish him happy birthday! I put something on facebook and combined my thankful day for him with his birthday.

It was also my sister's anniversary of being married to Don for 44 years! They were babies when they got married.

Now there is a love story!!!! They are still so and love and all over each other! lol
Lanny went to costco and we watched Rudolph that night. Not a politcally correct show at all. I am surprised someone hasn't gotten it off the year for it's meaness. lol!

My friend Veronica (I used to work at the preschool with her) had a birthday on Thanksgiving and we talked forever! It was so awesome! I miss her!

We sat around stress free all day on Thanksgiving and then we went to Ryan and Amanda's for dinner!  It was so tasty!!!! Lauren made the fruit salad, dessert and potatoes! Helped her mama with lots of stuff!

Ryan, Andrew, Lauren on their phones. Kevon watching football and Lanny is in the other room watching football. Thought this was a funny picture!

Well, gotta pick up David and his girls in 45 minutes so I best run!  Just wanted to get these posted. Have a great Sunday! Go Seahawks!!!!! Monday Night Football!
