11 hours late posting!!! crazy!

oh.... I have been busy and my foot is killing me!  I didn't post this morning because our internet service was down for about 24 hours.  I was too busy anyway .... but since I never miss a day I decided I better post now before the day is over.

Yesterday I got to take Andrew and Lauren to school. It was Lauren's birthday! That was fun and special.  Got a picture of her and the teacher.

This friend missed the picture because she bought her and Lauren a cookie.

 Then I took mom to the doctor. Dr Connie gave her a sleeping pill and upped her anti-depressant.  She doesn't do well at night at all.  She had to have another blood draw to test to see what is up with her polymyalgia.  She might need prednisone to clear it up.  So went and got the refills, stopped and got her lunch at DQ and took her home and got her settled. Then I had to run back to Kingston to pick up McDonald's for Lauren and her friends at school.  We had fun at the lunch table again. It was "crazy hat day" at the school so that made it really fun.  We went out side and into the covered area... windy day!!! Then we went into the portables. They have foosball, movies, books, crafts, air hockey, all sort of stuff going on in there!  Lauren never wants me to leave. She always wants me to stay in class so that is a bit of a problem. Went back to her class and I told her teacher to make me leave. lol! So she thanked me for coming very loudly and I said bye to Lauren. Came home and touched base.... calmed a nervous dog. The power had gone out while I was gone which means the freezer beeped and beeped and beeped... Toby gets crazy and hates it so much!!! Anyway... the night ended at Lauren's derby race for Awana... she didn't win and left sad. She said she had a good birthday but the race "ruined her life." Poor girl.

Lots of stuff happened today and yesterday with Lanny's job.  I don't have time to write but needless to say.... he needs prayer and lots of it! This is going to affect his health if he is not careful... in a bad way.  I am out of time but will write more in the morning! Love ya all!

HAPPY 8th BIRTHDAY LAUREN!!!!

Lauren is 8 today!!!! She caught up to Riley. Now Maddie will want to be 8... but not until July.  Someday down the road they won't want to be oldest. lol!

Can't believe how fast these grand kids of mine are growing. It seemed like yesterday and Lauren was just a baby girl. Papa still calls her that! This movie was taken of her 6 years ago today 3-2-2005 of her praying. It was on her 2nd birthday!

Her laugh is contagious! Her smile lights up a room!  She is beautiful. She is smart! She is our Lauren and she is loved sooooo much!!!  Happy Birthday, baby girl!

Well, I am going to be gone ALL day! Lots to do and have to leave in 20 minutes... so I best get off here!  Having lunch with Lauren for her birthday today!  Taking mom to the doctors today! Hopefully we can find out why she is not sleeping well.

It is almost 11 a.m. and I am just getting on here!  I've been busy with my other blog... my history! It was fun today remembering televisions shows I watched as a kid! I am going to get up and rearrange some furniture in a minute. (I will wear shoe's papa!!!) I need to say hi to ya'll first!  I don't miss a day! 

Please pray for Andrew today.  He is down.  Not sure why... maybe after birthday blues... I don't know. I've been praying for him. I hate getting that way. It happens to all of us where there is really nothing wrong.. just feeling blah. He had a great birthday though. Lots of birthday wishes on facebook, texts, email, and the list goes on! His mom made his favorite dinner... pulled pork!  Num! I made nothing for dinner!  Kitsap County Sheriff Steve Boyer even posted a greeting on my facebook for him!

Well, I got to get going before my getter upper goes off and goes away!  I remember my dad always saying "It's getting about that time." every morning to wake us up.  And he used to say "It's 6 of one, half dozen of the other." all the time.  Memories are really hitting me today. That is a good thing!
