This month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I'm starting to believe they aren't going to find an easier way to do mammograms..... so with that being said, I have finally decided to schedule a mammogram. I am 53, never had one, and realize maybe I shouldn't wait much longer. So my decision should make a few of you naggers happy. Or maybe you should hold your applause until I am actually done with it. You know what a procrastinator I can be!!! ;D
Busy weekend coming up! Dylan's birthday party is at my house on Saturday! I am excited! Sunday I am not so excited. I need to attend an old high school friend's memorial. Her name is Jaynie and she had survived breast cancer ... but then another cancer got her. She was a strong believer in Christ, sweet as could be, and will be missed by many! We've lost too many people to cancer. I pray they find a cure soon!!!!

Rescheduled my breakfast with Candice for two weeks. She's got a sick little girl. A sick little girl that is doing a play at the 5th Avenue and needs to get better! So I did some grocery shopping. And I got me a safety vest for work. And I bought insulated curtains for the den. So much cold wind gets in our house. Hoping this will help. It has in the bedroom the past year I've had them! They aren't the prettiest curtains but as long as they save on my power bill in the winter and keep heat out in the summer I am happy. They keep the room really dark which I love in our bedroom.... not so much in the den. Everyone should have them in their bedroom. Only $12 per panel. It pays for itself in a short amount of time!
I just loved this picture I came across! There is no way that will fit in his mouth. Do you know anyone who could really eat that burger?????Papa has today off! I shopped yesterday so he can relax today. He is still sleeping. He still works Walmart tonight. Another lonely Friday night. :( We were going to get flu shots but papa caught a cold so they won't want to give him a shot.
Wow.... so much celebrity news. First the extortion over the affairs - Lettermen. Then we got Oprah and the Obama's spending time overseas to campaign for the 2016 Olympics in Chicago. Then we have Jon Gosselin all of the sudden changing his mind about the kids being on reality TV and trying to stop it. I watched him on Larry King last night and he made me sick. He said it had nothing to do with him being dropped from the show. Bull. I would love to do a poll on my site on who believes him but people don't do polls on my site.
Some good news is support of abortion dropped to 50-50 now! Finally people are understanding it is killing a little baby? It was good to have good news.... plus the news about this veteran that started a place for homeless vets to start their lives over and find their dignity, purpose and lives again. I voted for him! The link is in the next post below. If you want to read more it is an awesome story:
