Today is Lanny's sister's birthday! Want to wish a very happy birthday to Rhonda! She is the sweetest and most thoughtful person. Papa just met her 5 years ago. We missed so many wonderful years with her! That is sad... but great we are in touch now and get to see her once in awhile! We really love her! I pray for many more happy and healthy birthdays for her!!!!
Having a good week.... a very long week! I don't know how it seems to you but it seems later than Thursday!!! Need to get some food in the house today so I'll be meeting Tara at the store today. I love having grandkids overnight! My house is a disaster to say the least..... but it is so worth it!!!! We've had fun! Posted some pictures! We went to the beach and walked yesterday. It was so cold... but so refreshing! Nothing is better than fresh air! Here are some pictures I posted... the girls decided to build a fire like survivor. Here is Maddie rubbing two sticks together!
And Riley's contribution to the fire. Don't worry... this piece of wood was really light!

Dylan gave Maddie some of her favorite flowers!!! She was happy!
Riley was too!!!
Jordy with a sand dollar she found... Dylan is picking flowers for the girls. He is really a sweet boy.

A big ship on its way to Seattle. Riley always thinks these are so cool!
Below are the girls on Starfish Island. They love this place and can only get there when the tide is out.... so it is special! The starfish are hidden all in the crevices of these rocks.
Some kind of sea life.... yuk. Dylan took most of these pictures....
See all the starfish hiding in the rocks?
A sea cucumber and starfish
The kids loved this purple one!
This one was weird.... lots of legs. I need to google it!
Back at my house.... Maddie built a castle out of Lego's. She was so proud of herself and wanted me to take a picture for her mom.
Dylan and Jordy took her castle apart when they were playing with the Lego's.... but Jordy promised her she would build her a new one and here it is. Maddie loves it!
This was funny. The kids were sleeping and I was heading to bed. Checked on the kids and found Punkin on top of Dylan! He didn't have room so she laid on top. She didn't even look comfortable. Oh well... she loves him.
It wears you out to walk the beach... especially soft sand or rocks. But it was fun. Then after the beach we have to walk up that big hill! Jordy looked at me with a worried expression because I was huffing and puffing. That fresh air was so good!
Went to McDonald's but got it to go and ate at the field. We took Dylan to practice. He is doing really good! It's going to be a fun season... even if they're not the champs. It will be fun watching Dylan... I think he is going to have a good year with lots of growth! Karla and Joel were at practice too. Me and the girls went to Red Apple to pick up some meat, potatoes and milk. The rest I buy at walmart. The kids liked pushing the little carts around. After practice we came home and Dylan took a shower and then we had some banana pie! Num... it was good! I was tired so we're doing a bunch of stuff they planned this morning.
Got sad news that my old science teacher, Mr. Ham, passed away. He retired in Port Ludlow. He was a nice guy. I always got to take roll for him. He liked me.
Today is my Uncle Alvin's memorial service. Even writing those words are difficult. He will be so missed. It's the hardest part about life. Even though you know they are better off.... it is still hard.
Well... now that I brought ya down... I'm gonna go. God bless you all!!!! (not Go bless you like yesterday. lol)
Know what movie the clip is from?????
What's Ahead:
Showers, sunbreaks and even the possibility of thunder showers this afternoon. Cool air will keep highs in the upper 40s. Mountain snow showers will bring another 8 inches or so to the Cascades, with a high avalanche danger and a Winter Storm Warning in place until tonight.
Tomorrow after a few morning sprinkles expect partly sunny skies by afternoon, and more sun this weekend and early next week, mixed with a few clouds, and highs reaching 52 to 60!

I LOVED your pictures. Thank Dylan for making the ones of the creatures. I really enjoyed those. I've never seen a purple starfish. I just can't get over that beautiful scenery you have right there. Lucky you. I have found the secret to changing your background. I use thecutestblogontheblock.com, which has lots and lots of free backgrounds.
The first thing you have to do is revert your template to the classic template, which is just plain white. Then when you go to the cutest blog on the block and pick one you like, you copy the code, go back into your blog layout, go to to HTML JAVA and add it as a gadget. Bam, there it is. You don't have to add all your followers and blogs you read or any of the other stuff. I was thrilled because as you know, I tire of things rather quickly and I like to change a lot. Thought I'd share that info with you just in case you might like to check it out. I'm glad you entered my drawing. Maybe you'll win. :-)
Hi Friend! I also loved the pictures like my Niece did! You have truly got some beautiful scenery. I would give anything to be able to get to the beach quick. I wish we lived closer so we could do stuff with both of our bunch of grandkids! I will be thinking of Uncle Alvin's family! You can say Go bless or God bless, I knew what you meant:) Love to all!
ICE AGE!
Sweet. Those kids are great.Bye the way the answer to the riddle I sent that apparently nobody gave a rip about is Blackberry.}-(
I couldn't get the riddle... and I was going to give it to Karla and craziness took over. I stink at riddles! lol
