OUTINGS AD EATING

Saturday. Quite a rough week but it has ended wonderful. Our family went through some rough times but it seems things are on the mend now. God is taking care of things because He is so good! We made a chicken pot pie on Thursday night. Tara brought us Rotisserie Chicken from Costco. If you haven't had it before....we highly recommend. It is so tender and tasty and we make different meals with it. It is also Scruffy's favorite. It made a good chicken pot pie for sure! Friday was a fabulous day. Except for bruising my elbow on the shower door first thing in the morning. Still hurts. I went and picked up Karla and the two of us spent time together. It was so nice. We had no idea what we were going to do with our day. So first I stopped and got Karla an eggnog drink of some kind to wake her up. We drove around and then we decided to get pedicure's and manicure's. I went a light pink/beige and Karla chose a teal blue. It was very relaxing and we talked like we were the only two in the building. We saw a guy walk by that looked just like Don Valverde! We both looked at each other and had the same thought. Our nails looked so beautiful! By then we were hungry!
We finally landed at Red Robin because I was craving their fish and chips so much. Karla went in and ordered and they brought it out to us. Karla had a burger with an egg on it.! We couldn't eat it all. Filling meal!!!
After spending the time with her I felt lonely after leaving her. I loved the time with her and felt so close. Awesome day! Tired last night! This morning Papa and I went to Hop and Drops for breakfast. It was really good! But the main reason for going was Alyssa was working. I love seeing her. She is super special. Papa left her a good tip. lol I was pretty happy I went in the restaurant without my walker. I also left the oxygen in the van and did good. Proud of myself!
This afternoon we drove around the nighborhood. We have around 6 coyotes who cruise areound her and a mama bobcat with two babies. Instead of telling everyone to watch out for their animals I wish they would call the game dept. to come and take them to a new home. Anyway, we napped and worked on our Halloween Jigsaw puzzle today. I did quite a bit on the puzzle. All the Jack o lanterns and some flowers. Getting ready to have burgers for dinner tonight. Num!
Today is National Cat day. I love cat's!!!! Hope your week is good. Since I have been speaking of food, here is this weeks menu:
It's all I got today! Write again soon!!! Enjoy your week!

Happy birthday Elie! Thank you God!

Our great grand daughter, Gizelle (Ellie) is 2 years old today!!!! God's blessing. She is a cute little sassy girl redhead! Have fun eith the "two's" lol! Here are a few pictures from Heather's post. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEAUTIFUL BABY GIRL!!!!
I continue to love our home. I love our floors. I love our heat pump and how it stays a constant 72 degrees in her. I love my time with my husband. We are watching Life Below Zero. It can get kind of gross sometimes. We also like to watch Alaska The Last Frontier and Alaskan Bush People. They are on new episodes right now. We also like Mountain Men and Homestead Rescue. To name a few we record and watch together. This has been such a week. And God has been there the whole way. I am exhausted and don't or can't really write about it yet. But I will when things settle down. For now I am thanking God for taking care of our family!!!!
