He finally took it off!!!!

It is 7:00 a.m. right now. I love my life. Papa is sleeping in his chair, Toby is on the bed, Punkin' in the toyroom bed, Maddie and Lauren in the den and Sandy behind me. All is calm and peaceful. I am very happy and content.
That is exactly how I felt going to bed. Totally blessed! Lauren is on Andrew's couch...Maddie on Dylan's. (They miss their brothers so they wanted to have their beds). They were asleep with Sandy by their beds. Punkin was on Papa's dresser, Toby on my feet, my love next to me and I was filled with love and a feeling of joy. I love it when kids spend the night. I love it when the cat is in for the night. I love my life.

Yesterday was a great day! It started out with Makoa being hungry right away so we made scrambled eggs and toast. Lauren is posing with her "spatula" like spongebob!Makoa watched this episode of Blue's Clues 10 times at least. It is on the DVR and every time it was over he would run yelling "oh, oh" to find the remote. I would ask him "Blue or Spongebob" he kept saying "boo". Karla brought Maddie over! They played with Makoa... sort of. Makoa could not get comfortable yesterday in his clothes. His pants were bugging him so I took them off. Then his shirt tag was itching him so I took it off and let him run in just a diaper.
Big mistake. Someone knows how to take his diaper off and leave it wherever. Doesn't he look soooo innocent? I have some other pictures of 3 little girls in a similar situation when they were his age, but I won't post them today. lol! Every kid does it.
Makoa did take a nap. I didn't... girls didn't. Met with Kapono and did the baby hand off. He is always so excited to see his daddy! Took Maddie to ballet and Lauren and I went shopping for groceries. Got some KFC and then Maddie and came home. I was whooped when we got home but we got groceries put away.Getting out of the van Lauren spilt her sprite and ran in and took a shower. lol! At the counter she spilt water and dropped the remote. She isn't like that so it was a surprise. I think she was tired.

Today will be a busy day. Dropping Lauren off with Maddie to play at her house. Picking up mom and taking her for her iron infusion next to the hospital in Bremerton. Meeting Heather and Tara and kids at Family Pancake House. Picking mom up and taking her home. Getting Lanny shoes, slippers, a tarp, and dog food (for Toby... not Lanny). Then he has to work tonight.
Andrew and Parker get back tonight from camp. I am so excited to hear about their week! I missed them!

I hope God blesses your day and puts little surprises of happiness in your path! xoxo

Thursday is nap day... right?

Memory photos... Lauren 7 years ago today!
7-22-04 Maddie in the pool! Weren't they bathing beauties.... even back then?

Yesterday was a very good day.... except we could not get Makoa down for a nap all day. He was so tired. Angela told me he has been fighting sleep lately. At that age.... 16 months. He's going down today because I NEED ONE! Some cute little girl woke up at 5:00 this morning! She heard papa leave and came in to sleep with me... but she didn't. She talked and talked and then she went out and watched tv.... then tickled my toes and said it was time for our scavenger hunt! Apparently we have some things missing in this house... Maddie's swimsuit, Makoa's binky, Lauren's teddy bear and Lauren's game boy. Maddie is coming today to play with Lauren and Makoa... so I am thinking I am not getting that nap. And I always say I am going to bed early and it is never before 10:30. I usually wait until kids are asleep at my house. I don't like them unsupervised. ;D

Last night the team had two more games. Not sure they had recovered from Monday's double header and they had two more! Tara got smacked with the ball pretty hard and Karla's knee was really hurting her.... she had a knee injury in high school and sometimes she messes it up again by jogging or softball. Not good. Their next games are next Wednesday so they have some time to recover. ;D

We were having a blast on the side lines..... Heather was there and her and Megan (Dennis' wife) got along like two peas in a pod! We laughed and just had a good time! Karla came up with a great way for me to keep score that is so much simpler.... gave me time to relax and enjoy the game! She is a smart cookie! ;D

Here are animals in the zoo.....
They are called the Patrick, the Joshua, and the Jared.... very rare and amazing species!

This is where Lauren slept last night... she made her own private room in the den. She was so proud of it and she actually did fall asleep there! I didn't think she would!
This morning we found some of the Elmo, Blues Clues and Barney video's from when the gk's were much smaller. Lauren loved seeing them again and Makoa likes them! They had to watch them on our small dvd player because Andrew has the wii hooked up to the tv.
Maddie just arrived and Lauren is showing her one of the video's and they are laughing. Lauren keeps playing it over and over! Later today we are dropping Koko off with his daddy at Walmart, taking Maddie to ballet, go grocery shopping, getting Maddie again for an sleepover with Lauren. Lauren's last night here. :(

I lost the lens out of my glasses. We seriously are losing everything.... including our mind, I think.Hope your day is a good one.... may God bless.... and continued prayers for Andrew and Parker at church camp (last night).... mom's last iron infusion is tomorrow..... Karla's knee.... and someone I love very much has diverticulitis and needs God's healing touch! Thank you!!!! xoxo

Happy Anniversary R & A!!!!

All because two people fell in love.........
Happy Anniversary to Ryan and Amanda!!!! I thank God for your love and pray you always experience a deep love and devotion for one another! Love you two.... congratulations!

Today is Wednesday and it is foggy out. I woke Lauren up to come in my bed at 6:30 so Makoa wouldn't wake her up.... she said "Why do you want me in here.... are you lonely?" I said "yes". She said "ok". She went back to sleep. I love that little girl. She has such a big heart and cares so deeply about others!

Yesterday was a good day! We didn't have Makoa so we met Tara and Karla and the kids at the movie. Maybe I already wrote about it?Lauren played with the neighbor boy, Gregory, the rest of the day! They played across the street, in our front yard and back yard, in the toy room... they had a blast! I'm glad he lives next door. He is a very polite Christian boy. He calls me Mrs. Black. I hope he is not an Eddie Haskell. lol! I will keep my eyes on him!We had baked chicken and pasta for dinner last night. Num!

Today we have Makoa. He wants Lauren awake. lol! It is 9:15.... she must be tired. Have a great day in whatever you choose to do! xoxo
