I wanted to show you what I have to deal with when I go to bed. Almost every night everyone is all tucked in and sleeping and then they wonder what I am coming in there for.
Wow....not much to report. Yesterday was mellow except when Lanny decided to venture out (see blog under this one). Not sure what we're doing today. His work is an hour late. Not sure if we can get up our road.... and we have to check out the other road to see if we can get to the highway. I am so ready for the snow to go away. Who prayed for this anyway????
I posted this Christmas song.....I don't know why I think it's so funny! For some reason I love it! It's not all that
Christmassy tho. I'll make up for it the next two days.
Check out Karla's blog.....now there is a video! I laughed so much reading her blog and watching the video I cried. Great writer.... she missed her calling.
lol!
I have this
Jumanji thing going on in my left ear. I can hear my heart beat and it is driving me crazy!!!! This sinus thing never really went away.... I tried taking a
Sudafed yesterday.... see if it would help. All it did was knock me out two hours! I felt like I'd been drugged and couldn't wake up for nothing. Both of us need to see the doctors..... see if she can clear my ears up and if they can check out papa's cough. Maybe Friday.
Today is Jim and Holly's anniversary. Happy anniversary to you!!!!!!
Hope you all have a safe and sane day today! May God light your path and put his angels around you and yours!
What's Ahead:
With a layer of snow on the ground and mostly clear skies in some areas the temperatures plummeted in the teens overnight. Slushy spots and melted water runoff froze hard into a layer of ice for Tuesday morning.
Tuesday will begin partly cloudy with increasing clouds late day. Snow or a snow-rain mix will begin on the coast near midnight and move inland as snow. Accumulations through 10am Wednesday will vary from 2 to 8" before warmer air begins to mix the snow with rain. Locations away from the water and on higher hills will receive the greater snow totals and may not warm as quickly for a transition to rain.
Colder air comes in behind the storm Wednesday night and will change many areas to snow showers which will persist through Thursday morning then gradually transition to just a few rain showers in the afternoon.
The next storm slated for Friday will begin as snow in a few areas but change quickly to all rain. High temperatures will finally be near 40 degrees.
