lessons, movies and stuff....

All is quiet here! Yesterday was a bit chaotic. Got to lessons just in time! Kids did good. Then I took all the kids to the movie....Karla went home to catch up on some stuff. So when we got there the boys went across the hall to see Mr Beans Holiday and I went in with the girls to see Nancy Drew. We saved seats for Tara and the girls. I checked on the boys a few times. Made them sit up front where I could check on them easy. Worked out good. Everyone was happy. Came home and had lunch. Kids fought and played the rest of the afternoon. Took D & M home and met Amanda at Walmart....she took the other 4 kids for the night. Had a quiet evening. Talked with Libby and mom....mom is still debating on getting a cat or not. Hers never did come back. She is heartbroken. Today I pick up the kids and go to swim lessons. Amanda got Lauren some Cinderella goggles and she put her face down in the bath water! That's great! Bringing them all here and will drop them off on the way to work with Amanda....and meet them after work at the softball game tonight. Please pray for no injuries at the game!!!! It is terrible what this team has been going through! Hope your day is good and full of laughter! God bless!

don't be afraid

Fear has been a part of our emotional makeup since the fall of man. When Adam and Eve rebelled against God, they hid themselves from Him and were afraid. Things haven't changed much. Anxiety often affects our thinking. It controls our actions. Anxiety can keep us boxed in and unwilling to go into unknown territory. Remember....God is always with us. We as believers have God not only near us but also in us. Nothing can ever separate us from Him. That includes past mistakes, present circumstances, or difficult people. God is actively involved. God promises His help. He always keeps His word. God knows what is happening in our lives. He can turn hardships into a time of spiritual growth and ultimate blessing. God Himself is the reason we should not be afraid. Grasp the truth of His power, presence, and involvement. And don't be afraid!

Father, You promise to always be with us....help us to remember that when
we are on the mountaintops and in the valleys. Thank you for your
promises! In Jesus' name. Amen
