Monday morning! HAPPY B-DAY RON!

The picture of the day was taken 3-10-05 You have to admit...Joshua was and is one cute baby!

Yesterday was good. Picked up Maddie and Dylan at WalMart and they went to church. Maddie's mouth is looking better. Everything ran pretty smooth. We had Pastor Barry do the landing because Pastor Ty was upstairs preaching. They both did a good job, too.

Today is Ron Davison's birthday! Lanny will have to call him. They have known each other for over 13 years but the past couple they have became really close. I hope Ron has a wonderful birthday and many more happy and HEALTHY ones to come!!!

Did you change your clocks?

The picture of the day was taken in 1985....23 years ago of Lanny playing with Punky Brewster! She was just a sweet baby then. I also remember that ugly ottomen. It ended up with duct tape all over it because it was so old! I am glad Papa changed all the clocks, but I woke up after 5 and was happy to sleep in...until I realized it was only after 4. Oh well. It was sure nice having Heather & her family here. We got some visiting done, Heather took the boys to the beach, Don took Lanny's starter off his truck and put the new one on (but it STILL won't start). Lanny went with Don & Joshua to buy a new trailer hitch while Heath & I picked up Maddie & Dylan and went to Riley's game. Ry, Amanda and kids were there. It was hard maneuvering Maddie around the place because there were so many running kids and people and soccer balls ....I was worried her mouth would get bumped. Dylan helped guard it. It was cute. With all going on I didn't get to really watch the game. Only off and on. Got to see Riley play goalie and block a point! That was good. Papa and Don met us there and then we went to Wendy's and all had lunch. Took the kids home and chilled the rest of the day. Just did laundry and stuff. Today we are going to church and that is it. We still have to watch survivor. Probably do that, too. Hope you all have a wonderful day.

poor Madelyn!

The picture of the day is the mama's with their babies in 1998! 10 years ago! Yesterday was tough....especially for Maddie, Karla and Joel! As you can see by the pictures Karla took....Maddie fell flat on her face on the floor and split her lip open. Read Karla's blog for details...it will make you cry! After my job interview (which I thought went great) I went to WalMart and got her the 101 Dalmatian movie and a stuffed dog and went over there. It didn't look good. As soon as it happened her Grandpa Dave showed up. I think that was totally a God thing...the timing was amazing. As tough as Karla is...she doesn't do well with blood....and especially her children's blood and pain. Thankfully Dave is very calm in these situations. When Maddie had put her tooth through her lip last year the doctors had told Karla they don't stitch up lips. So Karla held tight until Joel got home to make the call. They took her in and she got 4 stitches on the outside and 2 inside. Poor baby. She was so brave...but it got old fast and they took too long and she started freaking out. Plus she started feeling it. Joel was an amazing rock for his little girl. I am so proud of them. Karla wasn't doing very well. She about passed out, had to leave the room, and she threw up. Meanwhile Heather, Jared and I were running to meet Dylan's bus....and the bridge was closed! So I had to call Kevon...who had just finished his run....to go meet Dylan. He took him down to DQ where we met them and took Dylan home while waiting for Maddie. They went to WalMart for their prescription and Maddie got a toy. Papa got to see her lip, too. He couldn't believe it. What a day. Keep her in your prayers as its going to hurt awhile. The good news is Don, Heather and the boys are here. All but Parker....he had other things going on. It's been fun having there over. Sadly, they are leaving today. Just a quick trip to pick up the trailer and say hi! Don sure has a nice truck. Lanny and Brad are both impressed. Well, best close and see what today will bring. Please....have a safe day!!!!
