SLEEP, WORDLE, PUZZLES, CHILI FEED AND CLAM CHOWDER

I am so tired I just want to sleep. We didn't sleep very well last night. With the day we had I would have thought we would have slept great. The tv went off sometime in the night and we lost the cable. So we just let it go and figured it out at about 3:30 a.m. So then we were up for a few hours and had coffee. We watched a really good Jennifer Lopez movie where she was a battered wife but he didn't start the abuse until after they had a little girl and she caught him having affairs. It was quite a movie and she got even with him. It was called "Enough".

Papa finished the the dog halloween puzzle. Now he is working on a new one. He loved the last one.

He will have to finish any puzzles by the 15th of this month. We are having the kids over for a Chile feed (Karla is making it) with Costco dogs, cheese, frito's, cornbread. Nummy. We havent done it in a long time. My counselor thinks it would be a good idea to do it. I've been lonely. Thank the Lord for phones and computers to reach out to everyone.

We are having Ivar's Clam Chowder. We used to love homemade clam showder but we can get Ivar's at Costco and it is so good and easy. Maybe grilled cheese sandwich or crackers with it?

Today's Wordle was a tough one. I almost didn't get it.

IT'S FRIDAY, DOCTOR DAY AND SHOTS!

Today was a pretty good day. We got some things done. First I had a doctor appt. Had some female issues to talke with my doctor about. She is ordering me an ultrasound and biopsy. Fun but it has to be done. Papa and I got our flu shots for the year and another Covid shot for old people. If I die after having 4 shots I am going to be super pissed!!!!! I hate that word. lol! So both arms are a little sore tonight. My blood pressure is down and my weight is down. Doc was happy. She even cut me back on one of my med's. She also had some blood taken from me to test. Lot's of it. lol And it is October so the nurse reminded me to make an appointment for a mammogram. She is 3 years cancer free. Now I really need to have it done. I told her I would. Now that whoever you are read this... you have to too!

Kevon came over after the Mariners beat Toronto on the first playoff game. It was so awesome to visit with him for awhile. Papa made some chicken stips last night and gave a bunch of them with gravy to Kev. They were really good and I hope Kevon and Penny enjoyed them!!!! Done for the day. Early bed night. WORDEL, BARKING, AND MY DADDY

Look at me. I posted last night and here I go again! I even surprise myself. Papa and I took a two hour nap this morning. Feels so good. Of course we get up at 5 a.m. I have Wordle to do. Libby and I both do it and text each other in the morning with our scores, how we did and funny GiF's. We are quite humorous and have fun. Here is one of mine.

Only 3 tries that day. I've only skunked two times I think. That is when you don't get the word in 6 tries. I am really getting frustrated with our dog. bark, bark, bark. That is all he is doing lately. He is getting old but he doesn't listen to us when we try to quiet him down. Any vehicle that isn't normally suppose to be parked outside our house gets a bark. Even Tara's car. Sometimes we have to close the shade to shut him up, but I love shades open during the day.

FALL TIME!!!! TV shows like Survivor, cooking competitions, Chicago Fire, and the other Chicago's, and FBI shows are recording again. It is really nice because they record one night and we watch them the next night. Which means we can fast forward those awful political commercials, etc... Eighteen years ago today my dad passed away. I am thinking of him all day. I thought about him last night. I was so shocked he didn't come home and he died instead. When I got to the hospital that morning i lost it. We all expected him to come home. There is so much I could say but it is still hard to talk about. On the left is his web site I made.
