TUESDAY, TACO DAY AND PRAYING

It is Tuesday! You know what that means! We went to breakfast today at the bowling alley in Silverdale. It is a hike in there for me with my walker but the food and service is so worth it!!! It is wonderful. And I certainly don't need lunch today. So there is no cooking today because it is National Taco day. Papa is going to pick us up some taco's at either Taco Bell or Taco Time. They are both just down the hill!

We were suppose to get our flu shot today but I have an appointment to see my doctor on Friday and we'll get our shots then. Talked to Lauren on her way to Moscow (not USSR) about life there at the school. I love talking to her. And Tara called on her way home from work. She's going to make taco's tonight! She was over and cleaned our house yesterday. She is so good at it!! Perfect. We love it when she comes over and does it. Especially Papa loves how great the kitchen looks when she is done. We appreciate all she does for us. Love her so mmuch!!!!

Praying for our Madi girl. She's got a bad cold and it was a rough day at work for her. Didn't help she knocked her head on a shelf. Well, we've been doing jigsaw puzzles. Right now they are Halloween and Fall. Today we just finished this one. Riley was over yesterday and helped! She is awesome!!!! Good seeing her. The second one is the one we are starting.

We are done for now. My job is to separate the side pieces for the puzzle so papa can start it. I love this one. Enjoy your week and I am enjoying posting so I may keep it up! lol! Bye bye now!

ROAST, WINS, RELAXING

Happy Sunday! I am typing after dinner today. We had such a good roast, potatoes, carrots, gravy and rolls. It was delicious! Kevon said he was coming over today to fix something and to pick up something and I invited hi for dinner. He didn't show up or call or text or anything. It mmekes me sad. I was hoping to see him when we moved here. We are just a couple miles from his work and maybe 5 to his house. I know, I know....he is busy. I did talk to Madelyn and Lauren today. That was nice. I love talking with grandkids. Here is a picture of Madi in her new outfit.

Well, the Seahawks won today and Washigton State U. cougars won yesterday. Good football weekend! One of our favorite things to get is the rotisserie chicken from Costco. It is the absolute best. Scruffy loves it too. We will make a few dishes with it. We were going to have Tara get us a Chicken Pot Pie from there but they are $29.99!! That is too much. We will make one of our own using their chicken.

On Tuesday morning we are going to the bowling alley for breakfast. I'm excited. Then we go to get our flu shots. fun. Well, that's all folks. Hope you have a good Sunday night and Monday!

Davo, health, little man and animals

Day 2 and I am still at it. One thing I love is to look at back posts. There is one from 2013 for my brother, David's birthday. It makes me cry and I miss him so much! I love him so much! His birthday is this month on the 21st. Papa just went out to mow his weeds. There isn't much grass right now. He takes his camping chair for breaks too. Last night he made Beef Stoganoff for the first time. It was good. A bit too much sour cream but it was good. Don't think we'll do it again. Papa said it was just "ok". He has me sitting here testing my "travel" oxygen tank. Much smaller than the green ones. lol It is working.

I don't like being on oxygen but it helps me. I have issues with my lung/heart. Hypoxia (breathing), a small benign Lung nodule, Nonrheumatic aortic valve stenosis (heart), moderate pulmonary arterial systolic hypertension (a type of high blood pressure that affects the arteries in the lungs and the right side of the heart.) I also have Spinal stenosis, lumbar region,herniated disk (back), Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (liver). See what happens when you are 66 and didn't think you would have lived this long? I should have taken better care of myself! duh I have my doctors appt on the 17th of this month for this stuff and other issues I am having. Enough of that.

See this little guy? Speaking of lungs.... he used to smoke. He would puff out smoke rings. Papa has had it for years but we can't find the cigarettes/cigars so I guess he has quit. Good for him.
