Friday! Friday! So glad it is Friday!

It is finally Friday!!!!  I hope your week has been great!  I am trying to post more just to keep things going and to remember what is going on.

Yesterday:
Lauren was home again sick.  I wish her ear would get better.  Ryan was going to take her to the doctor if it didn't stop draining but it did last night. She seemed to be ok this morning too so he took her to school. Still pretty plugged.
It was my brothers birthday so I called and wished him a very happy birthday.  It was so good to talk with him.  He LOVES golf and him and his son were going to go to Georgia....but they got snowed in where they live (Virginia).  I am sure he will make it up. lol!  I sure love my brother!!!

I went to see Jerry Rathman, the physical therapist. He was really nice and did the treatment to me. Once on one side and twice on the other.  I had never felt so dizzy when he did my right side. Whoa! It was so freaky.  I will feel a bit lightheaded for 24 hours and then I should be better.  I can already feel a difference!  It is awesome!  Came home and had dinner, watched some TV with Lauren and Ryan and then to bed.  It sure is nice having Lauren around.  She is so happy when she is with her daddy....and feels so safe.  Kevon stayed home from work today sick.  He is better today but decided to rest another day.  I try not to worry about my family but I sometimes do.  It is weird how blessed we have been when we really didn't deserve it and I seem like I am waiting for something bad to happen.  I know it sounds weird.  I am so thankful to God for his Grace and Blessings.

Today:
Nothing going on during the day.  Wrote to my doctor and thanked her.  Just heard from brother in law Bruce.... he said they are finally going to Forks TODAY!  It was suppose to happen yesterday so Lanny didn't go see Rhonda.... but they had to adjust her picc line and it didn't happen until late.  But he is sure she is going to Forks today!  Heather is coming in a couple weeks and they are going up to Forks.
This afternoon we are picking Lauren up at the bus stop, then Madi, then meeting Riley and Auntie Tara at Olive Garden. Nummy!  Finally celebrating Lauren's birthday!  She loves her cousins....they even call themselves the triplets.  They have been close forever.  That is a good thing for cousins!

Tomorrow:
Ahhhh....sweet Saturday!  I have nothing on the calendar!  Nothing at all. No games, no appointments, no nothing.  But sometimes I don't know what is going on until the last minute. haha!It is suppose to be a beautiful sunny weekend!

Have a great weekend! I will try to post pictures from tonight!  Love you and thanks for following my post Theresa and Heather! (I think you are the only two! lol....if there are others....say hi!)

Doc appt over

Today:  It was a beautiful day today. Pretty chilly but the sky was blue and the sun was out. Lauren came over today.  Her ear seems to be messed up with fluid in it and it was hurting last night.  So she didn't go to school today.  She took a two hour nap too.  Ryan and Papa worked on Ryans Durango. He put on a new hose and a o-ring and got it going again.  So it made Ryan's day!   Got lots of stuff accomplished.  I got my poop sample sent off to the lab. Papa took care of auto insurance stuff and retirement paperwork.  I made a big pot of chicken and dumplings for lunch. Lauren had been wanting it lately so she was very happy with it.
Happy Birthday to:  Jeremy (our nephew in Oklahoma) and Tiffany (my nephews wife across the ferry).

Yesterday:  I went and saw Dr Chun.  My numbers are doing so good with my diabetes.  Everyone there was so proud of me. My blood pressure was perfect.  I lost a few pounds. Had my physical and I am proud to say I have a good cervix. lol.  She is going to change my antidepressant but wanted me to talk to Libby about family history.  She is also wanting me to go see the Physical Therapist to see if he can help my BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo). There are some Epley Maneuver exercises to release crystal debris that may be causing the vertigo. So I am trying to get business taken care of.  I will be up to date on everything! Next I want to work on my walking and back issue. I can't walk any distance unless I am holding on to something to lean on. I have thought about getting a walker.  I seem too young for one but I am thinking about how it will work for taking walks. The doctor and I laughed about me using a stroller with windchimes and my dressed up doggie in it. How would that work?  lol!

Tomorrow:  It is the 5th and my brothers birthday!!!!  He is 3 months older than my husband and lives in Georgia and I miss him like crazy.  I should be used to it because he has lived away from home most of his adult life.

Don't have anything planned except my physical therapy appointment in the afternoon.  I am praying it helps me get rid of this dizziness.

On last Sunday we went to birthday brunch for Andrew. It was a lot of fun!!!  There was Kevon, me, Papa, Ryan, Lauren, Andrew and Dylan.  We ate a lot but it is wasn't as good as I remembered it was before when we went there. Kind of disappointed.  Good thing the company was so great!

On Monday it was Lauren's 12th birthday papa took Lauren to school.  Ryan brought her lunch at school and ate with her. After school she had band practice and then Ryan picked her up and brought her to her basketball game. Andrew brought her a bouquet of roses. So sweet. We went to Dairy Queen for her birthday after the game (which they won and Lauren got a couple baskets).  Some of her teammates came down to celebrate with her!  I hope she had a good birthday!

Well, I believe I am caught up.  Not bad!  I hope you have a great rest of the week!!!

ch-ch-ch-changes

It is Sunday again!!!  I look at my blog with every intention on writing and then get distracted.  Lots of changes going on this week.   Going backwards again because it is easier for my mind.  Yesterday our Andrew turned 19.  He is our oldest of the 10 grandkids. First born.  We adore this boy.  He will always have a special part in my heart.
Yesterday morning Lauren got up, showered and ate breakfast...then she had 2 basketball games. She did great!!! So proud of her.  She seems to do better when her daddy is watching.  She sure adores him and visa versa.  Ryan moved into our trailer in the driveway last night until he gets a place. Lauren slept in there with him.  "Camping". lol!  They were excited.  Anyway, after the games Papa returned the ugly coat he bought to Walmart. We had so many things to do so we came home. lol! We were invited to Makoa's 6th birthday party. Sadly, we didn't make it.  I haven't seen him for so long!

He has grown up so fast!!!!

Then there was a memorial for Pastor Joel Wood (mom and dad's pastor) and I totally forgot about it.  Libby went and represented our family though.  She said it was nice. He was way too young to die.

Ryan and Andrew arrived with Ryans stuff.  Ryan brought Mac (dog) over after his haircut. He looks so cute. He is staying here too.  Mac's first night didn't go well. He spilled his water in his Kennel and his bed was all wet.  Papa cleaned it and dried it.  Papa is so awesome with animals. He loves them very much!   Anyway, Ryan left to get Lauren and some stuff while Andrew stayed here and we watched tv and gave each other a hard time.  It was nice just to have him here.  Especially on his birthday!  But he wanted to wait for his dad to get back.  When Ryan arrived they had Andrews bday present. A new helmet and skateboard. It had an owl on it and kind of looks like this...and is actually called a longboard.  He was soooo excited!
Him and his dad sat at the table eating taco's together.  Ryan's favorite dinner ever!!!  He was in heaven!
Lets see.....the rest of last week.... Scruffy got a haircut and bath.  I went and got my haircut at the same time. And got a pedicure. Long time coming.  We paid bills, went grocery shopping, and got the cats' nails done. We also went and got blood work done.  I had to fast. So I go early as soon as they open so I can have my coffee!!!!  My tests came back good.
Sister Rhonda had a stomach bleed so she got sent to Port Angeles hospital and then down to Bremerton where they did more tests, put a picc line in her, started radiation and chemo on her etc... Please keep her in your prayers.
Well, tomorrow is Lauren's birthday!!!! She will be 12 years old.  She is excited.

Today Lauren has softball practice again.  Then we are all going to Suquamish Casino for brunch! It is so good!!!!!  Worth the price.  It is for Andrew's birthday and me, papa, Uncle Kevon, Dylan, Ryan, and Lauren are going.  It will be nice.  Then Andrew has plans with friends.
I posted this for him...I can't believe 19 years have flown by so fast:

Well...that catches you up to what is going on in the life of Mam.  Enjoy your week.  I have my physical on Tuesday. fun.  Gods blessings!!!!
