sinus infection

Good news.  I have a sinus infection.  Not sure if that is good news. I kind of knew what it was before I went into the doctor. My head has been stuffed up so bad it feels 15 pounds heavier. I am on an antibiotic. So hopefully I will start feeling better and have a clearer head soon with no dizziness. I had a bad episode last night when I went to bed. I don't know if I put my head down too fast or what but it was a bad one. I spun so bad I thought I was going to puke.  A little spell this morning. I knew I should keep my doctor appt when that happened.

Not much else going on. We are taking the van in to the shop on Tuesday to get new brakes, rotors, and oil change.  That will cost but it has to be done.  Need to keep those auto's running and the passengers safe.

I also go in next week for the fasting blood draw.  Maybe it will tell me why I am so tired! Checking my iron levels, blood sugar, cholesterol and stuff like that....so I will be caught up for awhile.

Just a little of everything...

Watching "Throwdown with Bobby Flay". It is fried chicken time. Looks pretty good. I love chicken! Papa is taking a nap. Scruffy is on his pillow on the couch and looking at me. He does that a lot! He is so funny.  The other night he went into the bedroom. When I walked in there (now remember my bed was made) he pulled the blankets down and was ready for us to go to bed. I laughed, took a picture and then I told him 6:30 is too early for bed!!!!

Now I am getting sleepy!  But I need to finish this post.   I always get sleepy during House Hunters.

Haven't done much this wee  Started feeling really scary bad on Wednesday morning. Actually  Tuesday Night I went to bed with a bad sinus headache. When I woke up the next morning I went to sit up and my head spun so bad it knocked me back on to my pillow!  I have never felt like that before. I just stayed there for a minute or so and tried again. Bam! It was like no gravity and knocked me back down again.  It really scared me.  I thought I was going to cry!  I regrouped and called Lanny. He came in and I told him what was going on. I tried it really slow and made it up. I had spells all day but not as bad as the morning ones.  Today I only went down once when I first woke up but I took it slower. I am doing better today. Still going to see my doctor tomorrow.   I know it is in my head (literally)! Sinus's, ears, headaches, etc... so I am not sure what I am going to hear from the doctor that I don't already know, but I will go anyway. Need to quit messing with this!

I have a busy weekend coming up! Saturday I am having lunch with my oldest grand daughter, Jordy!

 I miss her so much and the older she gets the less I see of her. She is 16 with her drivers license and a car. Active in sports, busy with friends, and has a boyfriend. I am looking forward to it!  Lauren has her last basketball game in the afternoon and then Maddie is going to spend the night on Saturday!  Heather was suppose to come over with her family but those passes are a snowy mess. And we cannot forget this happening event:

So, I guess I am up to date!  My brother who lives in Virginia had a birthday! I love him and miss him so much!  I really hate that he lives so far away.

All of my other brothers and sisters don't live next door either but they are closer. My older sister Lois lives in Yakima which is in Eastern Washington about 220 miles.

My younger sister lives in Sequim which is about 30 miles north of me.

And my little brother is about 25 miles...I think.  He won't talk to me right now so I am not sure how he is or if he is still in Keyport. It is really sad. He ditched me and his girls in November and December. He knew I was mad about it so he stays away from any confrontation. He did it to mom all the time.  Sad and immature for a 50 year old man.  Except that he is a junkie addict. Which isn't an excuse, just who he is. He's clean and sober at times but when he isn't we don't see him or hear from him. :(  I love him so much and wish I could help him.  I had him and his girls together several times last year.  Pray we can still do it!

Lauren is 11 today!

Today Lauren is  11 years old!  I am so happy for her! She couldn't wait for this day!  She is such a special girl with her beautiful singing voice, her sense of humor, her laughter, she is smart, honest, organized and responsible. She is so wonderful and i hope she had the best day ever!!!! I am posting birthday pictures of her. I don't have them all but these are beautiful!
