Camping, cards and fun!!!!

Time sure flies!!!! Today is Joshua's birthday....but I am making another post for that!
I am sitting here with two pretty girls...Maddie and Lauren. They are drawing some cool pictures. Papa just finished mowing the yard. This afternoon we are all going to Marcey's pool.  It is suppose to be 80 today so it should be a good day for it! The other times we planned to go the weather was bad. Hasn't been a great summer so far for nice weather. But I am taking Parker, Patrick, Dylan, Maddie and Lauren. It should be fun! Cannot wait to see Marcey and catch up!!!
Then we have a game tonight. I say "we" although I don't play... I am scorekeeper! I love the team.
Parker and Patrick spent the night with Dylan last night after seeing the Batman movie. They love spending time there and they love their Aunty Karla and Uncle Joel too. So I got to have the girls.  Yah, me!

Well, camping! We had such a great time! We packed up and left on Monday. Andrew drove himself up....which worked out well because when they wanted to go the few miles to the bunkers he took them. The first night Andrew, Lauren, and Parker took the big tent, Riley slept in the trailer, Dylan and Patrick had their own tent. The second night Lauren slept in the trailer with Riley.  We had s'mores that night and it was fun!
This park is so beautiful. You have the beach, cliffs, bunkers, tunnels, tons of room but best of all.... lots of deer. This was the sweet one I saw going up to pay.

The next day was fun...bacon and eggs always on the first morning! The kids played and had a blast. We played bocce....that was fun! Riley and I took Toby for a walk on the beach.

Tara brought Jordy up for the afternoon...then took Patrick and Dylan rode back with her to the game. I went and got them later. The park is 33 miles to the ball game.  Only 20 miles to my house....sure seems farther.  It was great having Jo with the kids. So weird to see the 5 oldest take off with Andrew to see the bunkers. lol!

That night Papa and Andrew were gone for a bit, Pat and Dylan were in bed, the girls and Parker were in the trailer. I was left to keep the home fires burning. It was really cold and breezy.  I sat there with my lap top and Lauren felt bad and brought out a blanket for me.  She is so sweet.

Sunday morning we went to the bunkers again.  It was pretty cool because the day before this is where some para-gliders jumped off the cliffs and the kids got to watch. One landed over at the camp ground!

We came home Wednesday and we made Sweet & Sour Chicken Wings for dinner... Kevon's favorite. We had invited him over for dinner with Parker and Patrick. Well, when Tara found out she wanted to come...so did Karla....so I called Amanda and invited her too!  It was awesome! I didn't know all the kids loved them, too. Guess so! The grandkids not so much, but Karla brought chicken for them...and salad and pineapple and stuff was brought. So nummy. I made Julianne potatoes too. What was really awesome was playing cards. Me, Andrew, Amanda, Papa, Tara, Kevon and Karla played "Oh Hell". SO FUN! Lots of laughs and fun! Karla won....only went set once, I think!

Well, need to post Joshua's birthday post before it is over!!!! lol! Have a great week and will post again when I can!
