My birthday week!

I am caught up on reading my friends blogs. I miss my Georgia friends!!!!!  And Julie! Been praying for her as she is in Iowa. Those midwest storms are terrible.  With family in Oklahoma and friends through out the midwest.... we keep a close eye on them.

Well... haven't had time to post all week as usual. I really don't like blogger anymore. I am not able to post the pictures right....it takes forever and multiple tries. grrrr... Anyway....I guess my posts are getting to be weekly.  So I will tell you about my week.  Mostly work...and softball.

Monday we rode the bus to Battle Point Park on Bainbridge Island. It was fun. The kids enjoy the bus ride and the park.
Tuesday Lauren had her first game.  The parents are NEVER late picking up the kids at my school...but lately they have been...a couple times!  So the games I want to see at 6:00 I am late for. Figures. We will have to post a note.
Wednesday Maddie's 1st game got rained out!  Of course, no parents were late that night! lol! But she played on Friday!  And Friday her and Lauren spent the night and the parents went to support Kevon's band in Poulsbo! Here is a pic...he must be having fun!

My birthday was Thursday....it was the best birthday ever...even though I missed mama not singing to me for the first time ever in my life. I knew she was from Heaven. And Karla called me at 6:00 a.m. ....just like mom did. That meant the world to me. All the kids called and grandkids, I got a bizzilion facebook greetings, and at school it was awesome! They made this big sign and hung outside the school! Then there were cards and a quilt from pictures, candy, flowers, ... I was flooded all day with amazing hugs and kids!!!!!!

When I got off work Veronica was there to wish me a happy birthday and I talked her into following me home!  At home Karla, Dylan, Maddie, Ryan, Amanda, Andrew, Lauren, and Kevon all came for BBQ burgers! It was so wonderful and relaxing! 
Well.... I have to be to work in less than an hour so that is all I have time for today! Thanks for hanging in there with me! lol!

Easter Sunday

 He is Risen!!!!!!! Hallelujah!
Had a very nice, short Easter at my house.  We started at noon... and ended at 2:00. lol!  Heathers family had a 5 hour drive ahead of them.  Karla's family couldn't make it....Maddie had strep throat.  But we did good in two hours. Had brunch, an Easter Egg hunt, and Riley and Lauren made a bunny cake and the kids played Jo's game. Short time but nice. :D

We went to Forks and spent Friday night.... but that is for another post.  I have to shower and get to work. Field Trip to a park today!  Have a great day!!! And week!

Now this was a Crazy WEEK!

What another crazy week at the school. At home it isn't so nuts.... I come home, relax, eat dinner, watch some tv and go to bed. School was different. We did Spirit Week!  Monday was blue & white day and we boosted why we love our school. We made blue & white pom poms and had a nice day! Tuesday was different... it was crazy hair day. Some of the kids had crazy hair...some had crazy hats. I put this purple junk in my hair....never again.

Wednesday was my favorite... pajama day!

And Friday was Hawaiian Day and we had a picnic inside (because it was raining) of hotdogs, chips, corn on the cob and the fruit kabobs we made the day before!

Friday was fun but sad.... my little friend Jimmy had her last day at our school. Here we are saying goodbye.

Didn't get away from work at all this weekend either!  No kids... but since I am getting 5 new kids this week (all boys) Ms Burke and I had to trade rooms. It makes me sad because I liked being by the kitchen...it was very convenient.  Plus I had a paint sink. Plus I loved the window where you could see who was coming and going from the parking lot.  This room is bigger and brighter so that is good.  It will work for us.  Not going to complain... Sarah and I made it work. I had alot of help from Maddie and Lauren both days and papa was a HUGE help. I couldn't have done it without them. I am very happy! Yesterday afternoon I was SO SORE!!!! We moved all the furniture and everything for 9 hours! Today we hung things up and put things away and threw tons of stuff away! We are so organized now!!!  Here are some pictures....

I think i really like it. Well... tomorrow we will test it. :D  I hope you have a great week! It is Spring (Easter) vacation here.  Maddie and Lauren are spending the night again.  They sure love each other. Dylan is in Washington D.C. with his school until Wednesday....having a blast!!!! Pray for his safe return.  Andrew wants to volunteer at our school this week. Checking on it tomorrow.

Friday I had to go to the doctor and she burned something off my back. Something that has itched for months. Still itches. Also I had to go last Monday to have ANOTHER mammogram and an ultra sound on my left one.... all is good.  Go back in a year for another check. Lauren had strep throat last week...she is much better now. Jordy got a cat scan to find out why she gets headaches... it came out fine. Could be allergies and she is taking antihistamines and feeling better. So everything is good. Praise God. He is so faithful to our family. We are so blessed.
