It is all in the 'tude!!

Good Tuesday Morning!!!!

My life is changing.  All because of my attitude.  I decided this past weekend...
1. I have to work. I have to bring some income in.... especially with Papa retiring. I have to help him to rest in body, mind and spirit. We are a team. He's been there for me... I will be there for him.
2. God put me where He wants me to be for a purpose.  It is His will and I will obey. He knows what He is doing. ;D
3. Attitude is everything!!!  I could easily put on the lazy, negative attitude and grumble and complain, or I can be thankful, joyful and positive!!!
4. I love my job! I love the kids, my fellow workers, the place... everything!
5. I am diving in and not fearing rejection. Positive, positive, positive!

Yesterday I drove to work thanking the Lord for these children! He loves them so much and I will love them too! That is what I did. I loved the kids. I hugged them... they hugged back. I enjoyed them. I reminded the adults it was a good day! I made Teresa laugh today. It was a good day!  We moved some furniture in the PreK room. Talked to Bernie and Tamara about our schedules. Teresa gave me an awesome schedule to follow!  Got lots done! Went and got my tb test. ouch.
It's all about loving the kids and making the adults smile. Being positive makes for a better place to work!!!! Today will be different because one of our teachers will be out.... but it will still be great! I need to be in my office most of the morning though. I spend a lot of the afternoon with the kids. It works out great!  We have some big plans and changes coming the month of May!

After work papa had fish and chips made for dinner!  It is nice to leave and come home with him here!  Ryan picked up Sandy last night and we visited for awhile. It was a nice evening.

USA, USA, USA!!!!

This will be a great Monday! That is the positive attitude we all need to have! Until someone messes with us! lol!

Tried to wake up early to reach of our mortgage company. Been trying for weeks by phone and email. No answer.  I swear no one really works there!  I have been on hold for so long. I need to get up at 5 tomorrow morning and try to be the first caller!  Today papa let me sleep in until 6. I am determined.

Yesterday was a great day!  I got my laundry done and clothes laid out for this week. That is one less thing to think about. I dusted and cleaned up. And we went to Lauren's game in the afternoon!  It was a good game!  I kept score for the team. It was fun!  The other team scorekeeper tried to take one of our runs away. Ha! That didn't work. She then made a comment about keeping perfect record.. I looked at Amanda like 'did I just get dissed?' and Amanda tells the lady "Well, so does she" (meaning me) and the lady says "I've been doing it for 4 years" and Amanda says "She's been doing it for 30." I was a bit shocked at that ladies rudeness! Thanks to Amanda for having my back!  But it was a lot of fun to keep score. It's not like you have to do any heavy stats like in high school ball! lol!  The team did great! We won 6-3! Lauren was 3 for 3 again this game! Don and Lois were at the game again!  Lauren was happy they came and looked for them after the game. It was a good day.

Taking some hand sanitizer to work today!!! They have some there but I am carrying it with me! lol! I felt queasy Saturday and Andrew felt that way yesterday. No need to get sick!  Can't get sick!

Papa is home sick today.  Not really sick.  Using up sick leave. He won't get paid for what is left or be able to do anything with it when he retires so he needs to use it.  He is off from WalMart to day too so he gets a full day off! That is nice. He deserves a day just for him to do what ever he wants.... without me around! 

Isn't that something about Bin Laden?  Finally. 
According to the news: "The fight lasted only 40 minutes and was described by a senior administration official as a “surgical raid” conducted by a Navy Seals unit. Bin Laden's adult son was killed, as were two of his couriers and a woman being used as a human shield. Bin Laden himself “did resist the assault force,” a senior administration official said. Reports on Sunday night said the terrorist leader was ultimately shot in the head.
Officials warned that in the aftermath of the attack, Americans should be on alert for a reprisal from al Qaeda. However, one official added, there were “no specific threats" as of Sunday night."His body was buried at sea and as Americans we have cause to celebrate! God bless and protect the USA and our troops!!!!!
I am just praying our troops get to come home soon!!

Great ball game with sunshine!!!!

I tell ya... I am loving my weekend!  Well... yesterday I had some tummy troubles. Not sure why. A bit of a head ache, ear ache, clammy.  Weird.  I am taking hand sanitizer to my office, for sure!  We had a busy day.  Andrew and I messed around on the computer and stuff until his dad came and picked them up. It was fun. Lauren and Maddie played with Gregory. We took Maddie home and ran to Lauren's ball game.  We were late!!! I had on my calendar 1:00.  She told me it was 1:30.  I believed a seven year old!!!! duh! My fault.  It was fun! Got to sit and visit with my sister, Lois and her hubby Don. And Andrew sat with us half the game.  He bought me a hot dog. :D  Didn't help my tummy but it was good. Here are some pictures!

After Lauren's game we went to mom's and got her mail and stuff... then ran to pick up her meds and get some stuff at Walmart for her and us.  Dropped off her stuff and she said she ran out of pain meds.  She is still experiencing sharp pains in her legs sometimes at night. So I called the pharmacy and went down there and picked them up.  By then I was really not feeling well and so tired.  Lanny took the meds up to mom and we came home. Just chilled out on facebook and went to bed early.
Today is going to be a great day! Laundry, dusting, cleaning and if I have time a softball game! I need to figure out what I am wearing and eating this week. I need to be organized because I am brain dead when I get home.

Next weekend is already Mother's Day!  Lauren has a game up on our side of the water at 4:00 ... by Chimicum Cafe... then we'll go eat there after the game! I will have been paid. That will be my mother's day gift to myself... because I was and am an awesome, caring, loving mom!!!!
