What a great Saturday!

GUESS WHO I SAW YESTERDAY????? It was quite an ordeal but so worth it. This was my 3rd attempt to see him. First Saturday mom was in the hospital. Second try they went to Seattle. Yesterday we made plans to meet at 12:30. As I was driving up the hill I saw Grandma going down the hill with him in a stroller! WHAT? I went to the house and then Kapono and Angela got there. Angela got in my van with me and Maddie and we went on the search for the baby. We went to McDonald's twice, a couple stores, the pizza place, past Drifters and finally down to the flea market. Ta-da! There they were. Angela got out and I found a parking spot. When we walked over there she was holding him. I talked to him and he got the biggest smile!!!! Huge! I took him and he held me and held me and held me. He didn't forget me!!! He kissed me and smiled. I almost cried!!! He head butted Dylan (who Karla brought to us) and kissed him and did the same to Maddie! He is so smart! He doesn't forget nothing! Best news is I start watching him again this week! I have him on Wednesday and Friday!!! Life is getting back to normal! Thank you, God!
We also went to Lauren's soccer game. She always looks so good out there playing. (I was telling papa he was gross as I was writing this because he is in the kitchen singing and burping.... while typing I wrote 'She always looks so gross...' I read it to Lauren and Maddie and they laughed so hard!!!!) Sometimes I type what I am saying so I have to really focus.

Don, Lois and Denise came to the game too! They love kids sports! After the game we ran over to their house to hook up their computer. The lines got knocked down by tree a couple months ago and it will take awhile before internet gets hooked up... but they can still play solitaire and games. ;D

Speaking of games..... Denise gave us about 20 games for our old Ninetendo ... Dylan picked out one game (Street Fighter) and he finally beat it! He came out cheering himself!
Karla is going to be here soon to take Dylan home.... he likes to watch football with his dad! They like doing sports together. Then Dylan plays the same two teams they are watching on his Madden 08 game. Maddie is staying to play with Lauren. They are doing the church service for us at home today. Pictures to follow tomorrow.

We walked with Dylan and Maddie last night and will walk our mile with Lauren and Maddie today! We are doing good.

I hope you all have a great day!!!! xoxo

Saturday, Soccer, Sleepover and sisters

It is still dark out and almost 7 a.m.! Saturday's are my favorite days! I am super excited about today! Maddie and Dylan are coming over this morning and spending the night! They are going to Lauren's soccer game with us. Then we are going to set up my sisters computer. Next I am hoping to stop down to see Makoa for a few minutes! That is the game plan but every thing is subject to change. lol! Today is going to be a good day!

Mom is doing great! She went grocery shopping with Libby in Albertson's yesterday! She did great! Her doctor appointment went good as did her physical therapy. She had a different therapist and Libby said she seemed disappointed... but he was good and she liked him. He worked on posture and strength. I am so proud of her! We stopped to see her in the morning and refilled her pills and took her garbage and laundry. She looked a little pale so Libby asked the doctor to keep an eye on her iron levels. Good thinking sis!

We had a wonderful time with Bob and Nancy at breakfast! I love that couple. We got to meet their new puppy, Charlie. She is a brindle boxer and so cute!

Went to Red Apple and WalMart for a couple things and came home. That was it for the day. Caught up on some shows I had recorded. Very relaxing. Cooked some steaks on the Foreman grill. Worked out pretty good.

Well... all I got going on! Hope you all have a great day and weekend! xoxo

Oh yea.... that was a productive day!

I am really looking forward to today! Papa is home most of the day and we are going to meet two of our best friends for breakfast! They are up from California for a couple of days and heading back today. They will be gone another month. We love this couple. They are wonderful people!

That is all the plans we have today. May stop at mom's. She is doing so well. I call her physical therapy her dance lessons. lol! She actually is looking forward to it! Libby is taking her today. She enjoys watching her. ;D

Yesterday I stayed home all day. What an awesome feeling. I cleaned, cleaned and did the laundry. Washed blankets, clothes, towels... I rearranged my living room and some of my pictures. I put out my Fall decorations. I cleaned the dining room. I studied about diabetes and tried to absorb it before grocery shopping. I made steak tips in bourbon sauce for dinner. Really good stuff. I had a pretty productive day. And papa got home about 3:30 and we went walking our mile!

One thing that wasted my time yesterday was this....
I could not get it to work. I was suppose to check it two hours before eating and I ended up eating breakfast at 11! I wasted 8 blood sticks and poke myself 8 times. Ouch!!!! Freaking hurt! I was getting so mad. The instructions didn't tell me why it wasn't working. Called my sister and she was no help. Finally (duh) I got online and it went through a tutorial step by step. What I was doing wrong was turning the machine on! I was suppose to leave it off and by putting the blood stick in it would automatically turn the machine on and say draw blood. I called mom and said "In case I forget this... remember for me!" She laughed. Her memory is worse than mine. So I called Karla and she said now that I've repeated it a few times I will remember it. She is right. ;D

Hope you all have a great day and an awesome weekend! Oh, Theresa, sometimes I am not able to leave messages on your site! I don't know why... but that is why I appear AWOL! I want to speak... it just won't let me! xoxo
